i discovered this video when i was in year 9 not knowing the anime or anything but when i saw this and the music behind it i was just so obsessed with it but i knew if i watched this video on repeat for so long it would lose its sentimentality so i stopped watching it. then in year 13 two of my friends were talking about a new anime they found called samurai champloo and i thought oh go on then ill give it a go. little did i know it would be the best anime ive ever watched. i remember as soon as i saw this fight scene i knew exactly where it was from and after i finished the episode i came to this exact video and started to just vibe out. now im in uni and i cant believe i still come back to this video. it has a very special place in my heart i dont even know why im writing this normally i never comment on videos but rn im a bit emotional lol
This video is super special to me too man. A couple years ago I was going through things and this song alongside a J Dilla beat helped me way more than I would like to admit Stay safe during this pandemic man 💙
Bro that's epic I'm guessing you're from New Zealand or Australia. Props from New Zealand my guy I love this anime too, nujabes the guy who produced the intro and other music is a dope producer I'd recommend the album moda soul
The good old days. I never knew this type of music until I heard it on [as]. I'll forever be grateful to Cartoon Network to make Toonami and Adult Swim and let me experience that still makes me feel something beautiful to this day. My words can't do the impact or the feeling justice except to say 'thank you from the bottom of my heart'.
literally it can ep 11 or 15 the episode where jin frees the girl from the brothel and when they run away towards the end counting stars comes on by nujabes
This was one of the first songs that opened my eyes to beats. I was listening to trap and I wasn't feeling it after awhile, then I stumbled upon mushroom jazz and knew this was the music for me.
Samurai Champloo was the show that truly got me into beats like this. Wasted so much time listening to trash music before discovering this. My friends and I love smoking a little weed, running a Nujabes playlist or the like, and going crazy with the freestyles. Some of my greatest memories ever. Big ups Shinichiro Watanabe!!
The message from this masterpiece of a message is, no matter how great you are, never underestimate your opponent or it can literally cost you your life even if you are more skilled!!! Always remain humble!!!! The elder understood this, and thus proceeded to bow in acknowledgment😌😌😌😌
Mugen also known as limitless or infinite almost died in this fight multiple times against an opponent alot like mugen exceptional swordsmanship love of testing his skill and a lust to do battle yet his hubris defeated him throughout the entire show mugen transforms from an arrogant, battle obsessed showboat to a tried and tested patient yet unpredictable swordmaster calm and loyal to his brother benevolence and his sister fu(food magician) ready to die for those he once saw as strangers without finishing his fight with Benevolence proving he had grown much and become a righteous man
This is really beautiful the fact that he mix this song with this clip from samourai champloo it fit well also it's one of the most interesting and well edit music video i had seen in my life , thanks you for creating this amazing piece it bring back memories and emotions big thump up.
I came across this video about 3 years ago and started rewatching Samurai Champloo and thankfully was able to remember this song i forgot i loved so much
Well done. Nice beat, and Samurai Champloo is the only anime that I have ever truly, completely, unreservedly loved. Guess it's time to watch it again!
City lights, so pretty bright, sitting with a fine beauty tonight as we ride, pass all of our problem I'm on auto drive try not look back at the past when your in the now never burn bridges simply createing the next move for growth, stayin strong, one wrong dont make a right so gotta be the bigger person and make it alright! Despite the negative always remain positive through out hard work pays off slowly but surely greatness takes time, patience is always a virtue
Mugen was such a G right here, steals the dudes move he'd been training to master for years, by just copying him lol then he plays him with the hidden blade.
Reminds me of the first time I heard my girlfriend sang. I thought her voice sounded so pure, I was captivated. Then when she noticed my gaze, she felt shy & stopped. Wish I can still hear it today
Shoryu was a great adversary for Mugen. The voice actor sounded identical to Illidan Stormrage from the warcraft series so that made me like him even more
