I also wanted to say, you can't use the SSBE skill after you are already in sparking mode, so you have to activate it before hand.

@@Steedoj i appreciate that man, I’ve played every dbz game growing up so i can translate it the new game. Yeah once you are in Sparking mode, it’s either you can just constantly combo almost infinitely, or you have to use your ultimate attack.

I personally don't have a problem with SSGSS ×10 Kaioken and SSGSS Evolved being temporary skills, cause I feel like the forms don't really have enough in the way of unique moves to justify existence as separate character slots, but the fact they are still there is pretty nice

I don't know if its a bug or not, but if not I'd love if they add some low poly furniture like chairs and tables to make it feel more like a place ppl work in. Not sure detailed but enough to not feel like a weirdly empty room ^^

Steed, I don't know if you noticed, but on the Islands map, I think there's a part of rock hanging over water that kind of references where Trunks was standing as Vegeta fought Second Form Cell. It looked like a very neat touch when I first saw it!

I think Kaioken and Blue evolved as powerups is a great idea, especially since Kaioken in the anime is a powerup ability not a transformation that Goku he can't hold for long.

12:04 In BT3 rush attacks hit faster after a lift strike, it seems they kept this detail. 12:40 Getting damaged per se doesn't increase your skill count but you do get 1 free skill count when you're on your last health bar. 13:40 I've seen in an older video a super going through Majin Vegeta's final explosion. Back in BT3 this was only possible with an ultimate attack. 30:51 I Love that reference. I LOVE IT!

Blast 1 transform boosts is alright imo, Goku had Kaioken up to X20 in the old games so it'll work out good

18:53 she used her blast stocks to do that counter where you dont get knock back anymore. This can be used agter that clash they did where frieza got tired. She could use it to stay there and beat his ahh after hes tired. The back in forth i. Thjs game is going to be great. The side steps the vanishes the counters the sonic sway. All so good

7:40 that reminds me of like the lightsaber art differences between the original trilogy and prequel trilogy which is also reflected in Clone Wars and Rebels. it can be a little jarring going between the two art styles but its not a deal breaker

I can deal with the smaller beans only because the ultimate versions when they connect, they become massive like super Saiyan two Goku’s ultimate in this game. It starts off at a fair size where you can possibly dodge it but if you don’t dodge it, you are swallowed by it lol

Most beams definitely have to be bigger. It's still a good way to scale the character's p-up. It makes no sense a krilin Kamehameha has the same design as of blue goku's or a gogeta's... great video btw 😁

It makes sense that ssjb kaioken being a blast 1, thats the way kaioken was in the old games, and the way it is for early goku. On top of that its not a different transformation, just a technique being used while in ssjb Ssjbe is a different transformation and should be a transformation in game too

It definitely makes more sense for Kaioken to be temporary than Blue Evolved in my opinion, but ultimately I don't care. Whether the transformation is temporary or permanent, I'm just glad they're in the game at all as options during combat. And it opens up the door for a _lot_ more transformations to be in the game without them taking up even more character slots.

Man I dont see why the beams can't even be 2x bigger than they are. Like it's not like they're "smaller than usual" they are pathetically thin, like OG Dragon ball literally had bigger beams and it's just silly that a fully charged Normal Super Kamehameha is bigger than Vegetas Ultimiate Final Flash.

i really hate the fact that neither blue evo vegeta nor ssj rage trunks are actual playable characters and just some momentary skills, hope this changes in the final game and they add them as playable character transformations.

Blue Kaioken makes sense as a Blast 1 temporary form. It's consistent with all other forms of Kaioken in general. Blue Evolved does bother me a bit but not because it's a Blast 1. What bothers me is that it doesn't feel like it lasts long enough. It always seems to run out super fast. Also, if I recall correctly, Blue Evolved has Super Vegeta type muscles but in this game so far, he doesn't have that. It's just the aura and darker hair. That bugs me a bit too.

They REALLY gotta fix Trunks hair. If that's suppose to be Rage Trunks, he shouldn't have his SSJ2 hairstyle from the anime. It needs to be longer and more spikey.

Kaioken is totally fine for me, however blue evolution is a little underwhelming. I still have hope though because if Evolution AND Rage Trunks is on the cover then maybe they will be seperate transformations. Trunks right now has the blue and yellow aura in his regular Super Saiyan transformation and you can tell that's not the same hairstyle, so maybe just maybe. Same thing with Goku maybe Blue Kaioken is Blast 1 and Kaioken x20 is a transformation.

The attacks still lack impact, the enemies barley react while being hit. The animations still look a little stiff compared to BT3

I heard someone complaining about the amount of dbs broly references. But the thing is, it's literally THE BEST animated anything dragon ball ever, and it has so much unique interactions and poses to go from. Also, people are too stuck on the nostalgia of BT3, but this is dragon ball now. Clashes that break reality, dbs broly type beams and explosions, shintani artstyle, this is dragon ball now, its the future of the franchise There's a reason it's called Dragon Ball Sparking Zero, and not Dragon Ball Z sparking Zero. Its no longer about Z, this is a super game through and through
