Thanks! This is still one of my go-to delays when I want that certain tape delay type sound. Especially when pushing it to those audio break up longer times. I forget if I mention on the video, but there are trimmers on the back to offset each time knob so you can more easily push it to those degredation levels without cv.
@@RobotsAreRed ..excellent information Professor I will screenshot that information for future reference on the Dwarf Star Delay.. I absolutely love Blue Lantern Modules the designs are brilliant.. I have 16 Blue Lantern modules so far and adding.. I am extremely happy with everything..
I picked up a used one of these version 1 about 2 years ago.. I now have a bunch of other eurorack delays Magneto, Nautilus, 2HP Delay, Zverb, Desmodus Versio etc.. when I found out that it always retains 100% of the dry signal while adding wet signal with the FX knobs I thought it was be useful to use with crunchy hihats (w/ distortion) which it does but I recently realized that I works very well with a module that has a decent internal reverb like After Later Atom.. I wouldn't normally recommend reverb before a delay but because this is a very clean delay with 100% dry signal it works well and sounds different..
@@RobotsAreRed ..spatializes is a excellent word to use when describing the audio oddities in this effects chain especially when you change the delay time.. thanks again Professor
@@normdurkin6425 You bet. Also I am definitely no professor, I'm learning everything as I go just like most everyone else here, haha. That said, stop by next Wednesday to see some awesome new modules from ALA, including my very first RAR module!
@@RobotsAreRed ..I absolutely will next Wednesday.. I love After Later Audio.. I have the Alan, Atom, Threads, Beehive.. ALA and Blue Lantern Modules are my 2 favorite eurorack companies so far based on quality and innovation..
