Blue Lining Potter County Part 1 

I'm especially glad to see how you gently handle & release those precious native brookies! I would rather catch a 3" native than a 3# stocked trout! I've been fishing Potter County for 60 years!

You guys make me want to brookie fish so bad.

Where our camp is we are 5 minutes from Kettle and 5 minutes from left branch young woman's creek. A native trib to the left branch rubs right in front of our camp. The tribe to the left branch are awesome. They hold lots of Brookies and and some big wild brownies as well.

Just got back from cleaning up around my cabin along the Kettle in Clinton County. Already having a great year of fishing up there. Cheers. Keep up the good fishing.

Well, I've been fly fishing for 42 years and never heard the term "blue lining". Had to look it up. :) Great vids and quit telling people where to go in Potter!! Haha.. :)

If you guys want to come to NEPA I will guide you just to share the best native brook trout stream in all of PA possibly most of the north east. In one day last year I caught over 100 brookies 50 percent were legal size the biggest was about 16 17 inches around 3 lbs my personal best. I also caught over 50 fish out of one hole about 20 feet across and 6 to 7 feet at the deepest point. But I would say most are 7 to 12 inches all natives nothing is stocked that runs into it or out of it I also caught a 20 inch wild brown that one I let go but most browns I take and eat bc it helps the brooks survive you would be surprised the change I made in the overall numbers and sizes since I started removing the Browns they eat most of the first year brookies and most of the brookies food so if your interested contact me I cannot give to much info to the world but I will send pics and vids if you want and it is world class fishing compatible to Maine or Canada. Either way have fun guys

I wish I could do this with the native 7-12 inch rainbows here in the creeks but most are illegal to fish here or have strict rules.

I have a question really for everyone. On the weekend I was hiking and checking out some small streams I haven't been to in a while and I noticed we had some bad weather and it has knocked over quite a few trees and bushes into the stream! Would it be wrong of me to cut them up and remove them from the stream? ​
