the best mid-fielder Sae Itoshi. the fact that he only acknowledge Yoichi over his younger sibling Rin really crushed Rin mentally and emotionally. but i have to admit i want to see kaiser in the anime soon.
Well you’re right. But at the end of the game we see Kaiser on the phone in a panel but we don’t see his face. So only non anime watchers will know it’s him 😅
Only thing is that anime season usually has like 12-13 to 24 episode season so, having only 16 ain't gonna work so some episodes will probably be slower paced and finl episode is gonna be them having fun outside of blue lock and S2 is gonna end when they all come back and we get introduced to NEL
Haikyu season 3 has 10 episodes, so it's not impossible for it to have 15 episodes 😂 But I think it will be extended to 18-20 episodes with a few filler moments, maybe dragging a few moments here and there, it will probably end right before NEL, they will have their fun around the town, then come back and choose the team and ending when they through the doors they choose, or ending with Kunigami come back from the joker room like how season 1 ending with Kunigami leaving, so like a huge cliffhanger for anime only. 😂
i would like to see 3rd Selection as a OVA, vs U-20 Match as a Movie, and then Season 2 adapting the Whole NEL, if you think about it, NEL would be already finished in the manga when Season 2 comes out... ( Being so that 3rd Selection OVA ends with Sae meeting with Shidou, and the Movie ending after Isagi says that Blue Lock will Win the U-20 World Cup ).
3rd selection and u-20 is too important in terms of character development and introduction as well as it’s narrative impact to be a movie and ova. It would be like making the shibuya incident an ova and movie
I feel like you gotta let the NEL simmer for a bit only cause then we most likely won’t get season 3 till 2028 or later 😂 cause the author hasn’t taken many breaks yet but if he starts to then it wouldn’t be good to be so caught up to the manga. I think your idea works and actually makes sense but I think it’s important for both arcs to be put into episode format
@@kissigus5797 I mean there were some scenes in the 2v2, not the whole match so they could possibly add it to the first half of episode 1 to give the anime only viewers context on how Kunigami ended up in the wildcard
I do slightly worry about the reception of the 3rd selection. It’s a huge character regression of Isagi (every show does it but it’s never well received) and it introduces so many new characters that sort of come out of nowhere. My hope is that Shidou’s insanity will carry that part and they will put most of the focus in Rin vs Shidou and not so much Isagi struggling. The issue is if they drag that bit out and it isn’t received we’ll fans will drop off before U20 epicness.
If season 2 is done justice, blue lock will 100% be contender for anime of the year (imo it would be anime of the year) and if ep 15 is done right just like you said, it also has potential to be one of the most viewed anime episode oat. Man, I can´t wait for peak!!!
Imagine, the ball is in slow mo while bouncing then a flash of lightning goes across the scene followed by a Lion's roar as Barou breaks onto the screen and scores a goal
Love the passion, season would prob end with everyone gathered in Blue Lock and Ego explaining the NEL similar to how last season ended with him explaining the u20 match. That or him choosing Germany with Ego announcing Kunigami as the Wild Card with Isagi monologing showcasing the BL players in other teams with their uniforms showing players shadowed like Kaiser, Lorenzo, and Charles. Would definitely be the hypest way to end the season
@@Extendo-I think they didn’t have enough time in the first season or they wanted make audience worry about kunigami’s team when all the team that cleared 2nd selection walked in. So I hope they include it in the second season
This is great. but one thing you got wrong is when it starts The 3rd selection should be 4 episodes. it's a lot of talking and introducing that comes back in season 3. and the season should be 16 episodes with the 17th one being a special episode with the players outside. a lot of side lore could happen. like showing what peoples hobbies are. then at the end showing isagi's talk with his old teammate and highlighting a scene with his family. that would be about a 34-40 minute episode. ending the second season. a novel special would be nice in between but if not this might be the next thing. or a side series of several characters and what they like similar to Aot Junior High. Most are likely with how much side material we have
i read the whole manga and omg the second season of blue lock will make it the best sports anime of all time its already the best manga but i will wait
I believe many episodes will adapt more than 3 chapters. It's a fast paced series and S1 already adapted a good chunk of chapters. Also chapter 147 has no dialogue and will be adapted in minutes. I think 13 episodes is definitely possible if they're smart with how to pull it off.
@@Extendo- oh that'd be cool, but I don't want to have production issues or mediocre animation. U20 is a huge arc and needs to be animated well, and significantly better than S1 now that it's popular. S2 being a single cour season would greatly help with that.
@@nuttbaked yeah i feel u , i would love for U 20 to have crazy animation but i hope if they do 24 eps atleast the U 20 portion has great animation and the NEL portion could have alright animation,(i just wanna see kaiser animated 😭🙏)
I get that there are a lot of moments where the animation should be at top quality but that would require like Ufotable type budget to pull off. So I would completely understand if some cuts are not animated as well but what they need to pull off is the hype moments being at peak quality. (The goals and breakthroughs and what not, just like Isagi's last goal against Team V)
Personally i think the 1st episode will start with the kunigami vs shidou game, it makes sense because it could ve a way to include action in the 1st episode, that way they introduce one of the antagonists and show kunigami walking to the wildcard
@@Extendo- not really, he barely spoke or did anything, when we first meet him in the manga we get to see what a threat he is on amd off the pitch, and finishing the episode presenting the top 6, itd be the best way to introduce shidou as an antagonist not just a character
@@rafaelmachado9837 ima keep it straight , they not gon animate it lol ,they alr showed him at the end i think most anime onlys alr got the message that he’s a demon alr and in szn 2 u will see how much of a demon he is , also u alr get to see kunigami walking to the wildcard in the anime why’s would they go back
@@Extendo- why wouldnt they fo back?? They showed the guy is a menace but we havent actually seen him beating up other players or how good he actually is, its also a good way of having action on the 1st episode, and they need to show kunigami walking into the wildcard and then end the episode with the top 6 and explaining how the 3rd selection will work, i dont understand why ure so oposed to the idea, itd be far be a better 1st episode then the one u said
@@rafaelmachado9837 i just think it’s dumb bcuz we already seen kunigami walking into the wildcard at the end of season 1 , there’s legit no reason for them to go back we will literally get to see shidou play and how good he is this whole season no reason to go back , plus the manga ain’t even show the whole game it’s one goal
Why do people want the u20 game as a movie like first max the movie would be is like 1hr 30 which doesnt even fit an actual game it would be such a waste I get that people wanna see NEL but I rather them take their time make u20 game as good as they can and we’ll probably see the start of it for like the last couple episodes
i would be happy to have shit animation in the third selection(except for isagi’s flow moment) so that more budget is allotted to working on the U20 arc
I honestly hope they don't show the Kunigami vs Shidou game until after U20 and introduce Kunigami back by surprise for all of the anime only wondering about him
I thought the Neo-Egoist Arc would be animated in Season 2. The U-20 Match didn't seem that long, I think it would be reasonable for them to animate N.Egoist too.
I honestly don’t want this to be a 24 episode season, I love your structure and I think season 2 should end with episode 15, other shows have ignored the standard anime season structure, for example demon slayer season 2 was only 11 episodes. Plus the next episode would be the bowling one which would make for a good first episode of season 3 as they can add flashbacks to recap the audience before they move on to the NEL arc
No chance 3rd selection and U20 should be season two Then season 3 should be that slice of life chapter and then should end in everyone getting invited back BlueLock and then the NEL starts
@@dumflameyou are right that dude is just way too excited because of manga bcuz he think 3rd selection is useless but only true fans know how important it was.
i would love u-20 as a movie with movie level graphics without cgi ( would be undeniable the best arc and most selling movie ) but u-20 is far to long sadly maybe like the final few goals (including isagis luck goal) would be a 1 hr ep instead
imo s2 should be a 13 ep season the first season covered 96 chapters in 24 eps so thats 4 chapters an ep on average the u20 + 3rd selection arc takes place over 53 chapters so divided by 4 thats around 13.25 eps for season 2
I dont know, I would Love to See, that S2 only has 12-13 chapters. There are a few reasons: 1. we get This year a Movie of Nagi 2. 12/13 Episodes would be Perfect and the Animation could go Crazy 3. Title: Blue Lock: BL11 vs. U20 Japan (something Like that) Spoiler! 4. next Season could Cover the whole NEL (Around 130 Chapter). It Can start with the Freetime Sequence… would be a Perfect start for s3 5. s2 can end with: I will lead japan to victory I hope that the s2 will start in July (European Cup)
