Blue Lock's one of my favorite manga. I'm a manga reader and loved season 1. There was a lot of good animation in season one but some of the CGI looked terrible. Some scenes also felt like watching a PowerPoint presentation. I just hope for season 2 they animate the best scenes properly. Excited for season 2 but a little concerned lol
I'm much more hopeful than concerned. U20 is one of the best arcs blue lock has to offer so obviously they have to go all in for this. They prepared 14 episodes instead of rushing it out so we won't have to worry about another 2nd selection animation. CGI, while it is bad I do not mind it since the CGI is only shown for like 2-10 seconds. What matters is that they animate the most important parts well.
always said this blue lock has always had outstanding key moments do i wish the animations much better and like up there with the greats yeah. but when it goes hard it does.. but for this big match i do hope we see more impressive cuts
bro i think 14 ep will be covering blue lock selecting team there where mateches between rin shidou nagi yukimiya karasu teams teams to select final team against u20 how will they cover both u20 and these mateches in 14 episodes
It is just 1st trailer. They still have plenty of time to polish at leash 2 months. Compare to Oshi No Ko, They have only 1 teaser with really power point presentation. Then they gone, no update until new trailer release just couple weeks before on air. And y'all see, the 1st episode is really good. It safe to stay the animation quality is better or still on par. For Blue Lock, I just want my king Barou's black lighting animation is better. The other scene I expected is Rin tougue out.
the difference here is that Oshi no Ko's animation from season 1 was actually stellar. All they needed to do was keep that up. Blue Lock in season 1 wasn't bad but it isn't up to par with how the manga presents itself. Not even close to it. Which is why you can see people have doubts about season 2's animation to be as good as it should be.
The one celebration I'm only waiting for is barou in u20. That celebration in the manga gave me so much chills and it's my #1 on the list of u20 celebrations. As for barou's entrance when being substituted from bench. They better make it have that aura lol
Lowkey crazy how they said “let’s take the top selling manga of the year and give it a low budget in season 1 of the anime”😂 at least the second season looks like it’s gonna have crazy animation
I Have a leak that some of the seasons episodes are Really good animated but the ones that arent as importent like the talking parts are just average animated or not animated that much but every match in s2 for me looks great!.
There’s only so much an animated medium can do to make running down a soccer field during a game actually look fluid and realistic. All of the goals and moves are well animated
I genuinely enjoyed the season 1 anime ngl. It didn't do the manga justice for sure, but I did enjoy it. The music, the Japanese voice acting, and the way anime put it all together. Apart from the animation at times, it was amazing to watch and i find myself watching certain episodes again. Can't wait for season 2. Hopefully Bandai Namco steps up and we get better animation, voice acting and bangers for music.
I acknowledged Blue Lock from the anime. I got my hopes up for the adaptation during that sick ass Isagi Direct Shot animation sequence. But after that it just went downhill for my eyes because of the stills and coloured manga panels. Because of this I bought the manga and read all of it and this manga series is actually way more better
i do read both manga and watch anime. it is okay for me both. manga have better detail and animation have better sound effect and ost. maybe I'm older. I watch anime since 12 and now i'm 27 so maybe this make me have low expectation for anime.
Remember, since the season is 14 episodes instead of 24, we should be getting that extra budget into the 14 episodes. Also i think the movie did pretty well so there's that too.
I know it's 2024 and it's hating season but can you at least wait until the actual thing comes out? like bro we have got 1 trailer and people already saying it's doomed chill out bruh.
I think 14 episodes is plenty. Spoilers below!!! The first 2-3 will cover the matches for deciding the starting line up where the top 6 are paired as captains for each team being Rin and Shidou for team A, Karasu and Otoya for Team B and Yukimiya and Nagi for Team C respectively. The ladder 11-12 episodes will cover the U20 match with a possible tease for the reveal of the Wild Card and a peek at the Neo Egoist League for the next arc.
i fee like 14 ep will be covering training chapter team selection how will they covering practice matches for team selecting and u20 match both in 14 episodes
Yes actually, using my godly math skills ,blue lock season 1 anime usually covers 4 chapters per ep so calculating off that 2nd season will cover about 56 chapters. So 3rd selection arc which is 13 chapters (from 95- 108) so adapted that’ll be 3 episodes and half a ep ig and from there onwards from chapter 109 is a bit of content and then the whole of ||U-20|| until chapter 149 which will be about 40 chapters . So it will be enough to cover
I understand that sometime you have low time and budget and all that, but there is one thing that i didn't like about season 1. I know that to fit dialogues you have to slow down the time but that for me was a weakness for the show. Imo a fast and smooth animation for a skill or a movement is way better to just see instead of slowing down every action to create suspence. This is just my opinion but i really think they should focus more on the visual part of the game instead of the explanation. What's the point of creating an anime if at the end of the day is lower in quality than the manga? In that case you should at least make great animation
