Got one for you: Recall when Isagi is trying to figure out his special weapon. Chigiri notes it’s his spatial awareness that is exceptional, and the analogy that Isagi is like a omniscient god over the pitch. What if each of the Egoist 4 each govern their own respective domains? Chigiri’s absolute weapon being speed which is distance over time. Bachira’s dribbling is one-of-a-kind as well, and his inner monster is like an underworld deity that contrasts his sheer joy in playing soccer. Maybe this relates to mindfulness or Taoism, being what frees the mind and soul. For Kunigami, he represents peak human physique. Perhaps he is like Hercules, half man half deity who must go through trials in order to claim his full godhood. Shido the demon being one such test, and in wildcard his own inner turmoil.
I actually remember stumbling upon the Chigiri scene from the first selection right after finishing this video and I got so annoyed that I had forgotten about it here haha Interesting stuff in any case! Not sure if I'm 100% on board with all the details but it's a cool idea nor sure. I like the idea of Shidou the demon being a test for Kunigami the hero. I'm still waiting on something more 'meaningful' to come out of Shidou's demonic nature, and tying it together with Kuni would be a great way to do that

But a Reddit post from long ago got me thinking, about Chigiri’s sole focus on speed being bc he knows that no other skills matter if he can arrive at a point ahead of time and execute. Much similar to how Isagi describes metavision. But yeah we need something concrete lol I’m hoping we get like 10 juicy chapters at least before the title fight
Yeah I've had quite some struggles with the mic haha. I think I've improved the settings in more recent vids but it's been a bit of a frustrating process
I believe the eye represents us, the viewer, able to see both sides of the story. I came to this before, where I thought meta vision appeared once someone's understanding of themselves or the world around them grows but now with the eyeball it makes more sense. The eye is us, the viewers, allowing us to see everything like a hoe while the 2nd characters try to get to the 3d world(exaggeration)
