Thanks for watching, this is one of my older videos. I have just finished a new narrated documentary on the Blue Mountains that you may enjoy ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-vFP4CFX8SGc.html Thank you for the kind feedback, stay safe, cheers Phil
Thanks for the kind feedback, I'm so happy that you enjoyed the show :) I used to live there many years ago and really enjoyed going back there recently. All the best to you
This was my last place before comming back to germany after 1 incredible year down under. Thanks to your wonderful movie i feel taken back to that beautiful place.Only good memories :) Well done and Cheers!
Thank mate, I'm glad you enjoyed your year down under. I grew up in the Blue Mountains and returned after being away for around 20 years. I really had forgotten just how beautiful and special "the mountains" really are. I hope we see you back here some time. All the very best to you and thanks again for taking the time to drop me a line.
Thanks Teejay, my old home too, glad you enjoyed the video. I was down there recently and captured some drone footage for a new film which will come out some time next year. Stay tuned. Cheers and all the best.
If you go to Katoomba you should visit the cultural centre. There's a really great cafe and lots of great art exhibitions. There's also a viewing platform to see the views from
Cheers Steve, thanks for your kind words as always mate. Occasionally some of the tourism sites pick up and share our vids. Stay tuned mate a few developments are on the way.
Superb. Do you have CC on this? I was wondering if I could use it and give attribution as I am preparing a presentation at a conference. I look forward to hearing from you.
Hi Liz, thanks :) I am the copyright holder for the video elements. Can you please email any requests for use of this material to phil@intothewildfilms.com with associated details of the proposed use. thanks
I know the Mountains pretty well having been visiting them for over 65 years, but lots of others will be looking at the views for the first time via your video. Some quick surtitles giving the location would be helpful to them. Good to see some shots of the Grose Valley. Many tourists only get to see Echo Point, Three Sisters and so forth.
Thanks so much, i'm so glad you are still following me. Plenty more destinations on the list so keep an eye out for more vids in the future. All the very best to you. :)
Thank you for watching. I hope our borders are open for you by November. The Blue Mountains are beautiful and well worth a visit while you are here. Stay tuned to my channel as I'm releasing a new Blue Mountains video in the coming weeks. :) Stay safe , cheers Phil
+Andrew Star life cheers buddy, appreciate you taking tthe time to drop me a note. I hope to produce some new work soon. All the best mate. Cheers Phil
Really enjoying looking at your videos, especially since you have the same camera as me. Very fine cinematography. What's the magic lantern firmware like to work with?
Thanks for the feedback Bill i really appreciate you taking the time to drop me a line. I used the Magic Lantern firmware for the first time when i shot this video. Over-all i'm happy with it, I mostly used the intervalometer for the time lapses, the exposure zebras and focus peaking. There is plenty more there that i will no doubt learn how to work with as my video making adventure continues. All the best to you mate.
Hi James, thanks for the support buddy. I have seriously thought about it but I operate on a 'run and gun' basis, i need to travel light and drones (up until recently) have been pretty bulky. The DJI Mavic may be an answer. No plans in the immediate future but who knows?
I do not speak English very well. I translate this with gogle translate. Is there a problem with taking a very long video with DSLR machines? Thank you
DSLRs are limited to 30 minute continuous recording time for a single shot. This has never been a problem for me as i edit many very short duration shots in my videos.
Hi Into Wild Films, Could I use some of your images to make a gift to my girlfriend from the blue mountains? It is for a video without monetization. I would even like to make a special mention to you on my social networks for your incredible work. And I can share the gift with you when I have it finished.
