Approaching Normal, by far, one of my favorite albums to ever exist... the emotions in each song are just amazing.

Why this song never got more popular I'll never ever understand. Its fucking awesome.

I love that this is pure raw emotion. You can hear and actually feel his anger. All I can say is WOW!

I just have to say, I love how charasmatic Justin is in all his video performances and while singing. The passion is in your face!

My mom would listen to this band so much, years ago. I had this song stuck in my head and I looked it up. I was so shocked and surprised to see how little views they have. They're so good bit extremely underrated. The world probably doesn't even deserve them anyway.

Blue October are so great because of the simple fact they are real. Unlike most musicians today this band simply uses real instruments, doesn't autotune, and have real heart in their music. Why can't more bands today be like them?

I usually gag when I hear people talk about the significance of a particular artist or song, how deep/personal the music is to them. Most songs of any genre are either too superficial, too cryptic or completely non-sensical, or at best, only have true significance to the artist himself. Blue October is the exception. What they have released seems as though written just for me. "Calling you" when I was married. "Hate me" when divorced. And this after getting scammed by a con artist.

To me this song is about my ex. He stole from everyone he has ever known. The people that helped him. I recently found out he stole my dad's knife collection worth over a grand. My dad took him in when he was homeless just to be robbed! The low life stole our kids Xbox and games, my jewelry and money, from his mother....I would give anything to toss him in a dirt room.

I saw Blue October in March and Furstenfelds 'Open Book Tour. Blue October was awesome and Furstenfeld put on a pretty good show. I love em.

You know If I remember correctly this song is about a fellow that tried to sew the main singer after a concert. Ended up in the end the main singer found out that the guy made everything up and bam this song came out.

Kinda bums me out that they're so huge now...their shows at Juanita's in Little Rock were THE BEST! Some bands are best enjoyed in a small, club type setting. You can't get the full effect at big arenas and stuff. I am very happy for them though coz they're finally getting some of the recognition they deserve from YEARS of rocking out at small venues.
