Bloody impressive mate. The view, the lighting, and your boy Kai, it's gonna be one of the best moments for him when he looks back in years to come. Well done mate.
Tyler Thompson just went and did it this past long weekend and spent two days down the bottom on the creek. Had a blast defiently going to go back soon.
Hi Tyler, Done the Blue rag December 2018.Fantastic drive with family (with 2 young kids). Being waiting to do this for 7 years. Finally got there. Stayed on top for sunset as you done. Whole place for us. Coming back down was bit scary after dark being solo driving. Great video again. Don.M
Hey mate, love your work! Good on you for taking your boy out into the wild places and showing him what life is really all about. doing well mate great stuff!
Love the Vic high country! Blue rag is my #1 to do item... You have inspired me immensely to take my 5yo son out there and spend some quality father son time out there like you have! Well done Tyler.
Brilliant, love your footage and content. What a great dad! Thankfully I've remembered my sign in so we can now subscribe and follow your adventures. That storm was amazing, typical of the high country, we had similar camping at Hotham Heights just before Blue Rag. PURE MAGIC!
Thoroughly enjoying all your videos Tyler. I arrived at your channel while planning a similar trip and thanks to your efforts to post your escapades am pushing ahead with a month off work in March. As a parent I especially enjoy the way you include the young bloke in doing something you obviously love and appreciating this great country of ours. The drone footage takes your efforts to the next level and puts a lot more perspective on your locations. Thanks for your efforts.
Thanks for the feedback Richard! Got a few more videos to come from this trip so hopefully help you out with your plans. Drone is definitely my favourite piece of camera equipment
Tyler Thompson I'm not to good with words but these videos are exactly what I needed to get inspired to build a tourer and get out there (specifically in vic). To many videos poorly edited or well edited but presented by really annoying/oppinionated "4wders" that actual put people off the idea of trips like this. Keep up the videos mate
Thats awesome mate! Im glad I've inspired you to get out there, there are so many great places in Australia to see with a 4x4! Thanks for the feedback :) I'll be definitely making more videos
Can't wait to hit up that track some day. It was snowed out last time I tried. Also that's some epic footage of that storm captured; what camera setup where you using?
Thanks mate! If you mean the water crossing in the intro bit then that wasn't in the Blue Rag area, most of the stuff we did on this trip wasn't too hard :) part 9 when we did the Caledonia river track was definitely the most challenging
Thanks for sharing you’re making some pretty special memories happen... will my stock standard jk wrangler be good for the track with mud terrains bu t no lift. Cheers
Hey Tyler, Had a sub alert me to this (I've had one of your vids on a playlist of mine for a couple of weeks) and It appears google & RU-vid search arent picking your vids up correctly because you haven't got any keywords/tags on either your channel or posted videos? Below is a related example of a good mix being used by similar channels that might help, Cheers. 4wd,4x4,offroad,outdoors,camping,adventure,travel,overlanding,toyota,nissan,hilux,patrol,landcruiser,adventure,camping,fishing,diesel,petrol,remote,touring,bush mechanic, tracks, outback,Australia,
Another fantastic video Tyler. We're really looking forward to doing this trip. Thanks for all the hints and tips too. We bought the VMS after seeing you use it, just have to figure out how it works haha. 👍
