And i like how they fleshed out darth vader by giving him a backstory, making his redemption and reunion with luke so much sweeter.

If Marvel will ever undo One More Day, they should make a rather personal tale where Peter and Mary Jane confront Mephisto and undo the deal. Though the timeline will be restored at the cost of Aunt May being dead and his identity revealed, Peter would settle with being an actual man who truly applies the life lesson that has once defined him before.

Holy crap, I never even realized this. And to further that, most main Kamen Riders have some paragon tendencies to them, though I'd say the closest to compare to Jaime is actually one that came from after Jaime was introduced... Eiji Hino AKA Kamen Rider OOO! Both are incredibly selfless and kind, with their desire to help out those they care about and the world, and both are characters carrying on the identity of their respective hero names from another. The two are just good people who inspire the people around them both in suit and outside of it. I will say, this makes me love Jaime even more than I already had thanks to Blue Skying.

well except the last part, Ted Kord was the one who introduced/popularised Blue Beetle to the major DC. Jaime did get onscreen parts a lot.

It's still pretty irresponsible. When Superman found out he called out the Wizard for taking away Billy's childhood. Pointing out that a 12 year old shouldn't have to worry about mercs killing his bestfreind. And the Wizard agreed.

Ted Kord actually made an appearance in the show too, in a flashback mind you. I'm not sure if that was before or after Jaime was shown, though...

At the end of the Teen Titans: The Culling series of reviews, I think he for sure hated the redesign.

I mean't more of what did he think of the new 52 Lobo series pretty much establishing that the Lobo everybody knows for the past years was a fake Lobo and "real" Lobo straight up killed him.

Well he's hasn't mentioned (at least in video form) as far as I'm aware.

I hope he covers that series.

Can we focus on the comic? Where Jamie is the central player?

Is there something wrong with me liking Young Justice's interpretation of Jaime? And although Jaime wasn't front and center in the cartoon, he did play a major role in the plot and appeared in a majority of the episodes.

No I like Young Justice, but everyone focuses on that and Batman: The Brave and The Bold. To the point I don't feel the comics that allowed that character to exist get the attention they deserve.

I never got the chance to read the comics since there's no comic shop close enough to me to go every week and I haven't been able to find the books for sale online. In fact, with how scarce comic book shops are and how limited the comic selection at bookstores are as well, people are just more likely to be introduced to a comic book character through other forms of media than through comics themselves. It sucks but, that's the way it is, at least where I live. Also Batman: The Brave and The Bold is a horrible attempt at imitating 60s Batman (at least in my opinion).

I'm not saying it isn't easier to look up a character in other ways. And I'm well aware it the two mentioned shows (personal opinion aside, because you wouldn't like mine) and the recent Teen Titans movie are how most people are aware of Jaime. Hell it's how I found out about the character, but being honest I don't think any of those were as good (to Jaime and his awesome supporting cast) as the pre-New 52 book. Brave and the Bold only ever showed Paco and no one knew his secret identity, as good a YJ is character class didn't allow much of his home life or friends (yes he plays major parts and element of the Reach were seen, but there just isn't enough time for me), and Justice League vs. Teen Titans was more focus on Damien and Raven. This series broke conventions; everyone close to Jaime were aware of his power, he was a relative average kid who was willing to learn to be a proper hero, there was a point were his nurse mother berated Guy Gardner for constructing a green fist in her presence! You can get that in any of the adaptations, and I really wish it could of.

+matt0044 Mistake? That's not how they saw it. TTG managed to knock Modern Spongebob off the throne it had been sitting on for YEARS now. They know it sucks and they know they can get away with pissing off whoever they want AND do piss off whoever they want. +toongrowner1 If you haven't watched it, Young Justice had Jaime has a major character in the second season as well. Awesome storyline there and did a lot to flesh out his character.

toongrowner1 All of that stigma against Aquaman can be traced back to ONE source; the Superfriends cartoon from the 60s. Aquaman is the a hero that can toe-to-toe with Superman, is the King of the seven kingdoms of Atlantis (and commands the most powerful navy on Earth) and (usually) is married to Mera, who's essentially a bloodbender from Avatar. Why is all of this ignored for 'durr-hur fish'? because people CANNOT let go of the crap Aquaman dealt with in the Superfriends. Spoiler alert; EVERYONE was useless in the Superfriends. But that doesn't stop the likes of MacFarlane, or the idiots on the big bang theory parroting 'durr-hur, fish' and thinking they're hilarious... As Lewis himself said "I don't make fun of Aquaman."

You really should. The Giffen/Rogers run was collected into four TPBs and they're basically the best thing DC produced this century. (There are two more TPBs to finish the run of the comic but they were by different creators and (IMO) of lesser quality.)

I am so glad of that too. I also hope one of the stories in the upcoming series is them finding or researching about Dan Garett. I really want him in the mix somewhere, even if he's dead and only appears in flashbacks.
