Blue Snowball Ice Mic - Unboxing, Setup & Test!

In this video I unbox and setup this microphone on a Macbook Pro and a Windows PC to show the process as well as do some testing between this mic and the internal mic on my 2017 Macbook Pro.
The Blue Snowball Ice comes in White and Black and looks really nice. It is made with nice quality materials and sounds great also. It includes a small stand and a 6ft Mini-USB to USB-A cord to connect to a computer. No drivers were needed to install and it was easy to setup in both MacOS and Windows.

@@Peterk-yw3ch Oh. i also planning to get an xbox next year. If you want to use it on xbox tho, just plug it in to one of your usb ports and then change your audio settings to support the blue snowball ice

Hi. I play the line dancing music at a Age UK club. I'd love a microphone but Don't know what one to go for. I use a Sony Bluetooth speaker, a usb flash drive with all my music on and my HP Windows 10 laptop. I need a microphone for announcing the next dance to save me shouting and walking round the room. I've watched your video but I'm still not sure if this is the microphone for me? I'd be very grateful for some advice in this matter.

How do I make the windows version sound better? I hate the humming sound in the back + how it picks up external noise like chair rubbing or keyboard.

It worked for one night and then I unplugged it when I went to bed. Then I plugged it back in and it didn’t work at all. The power button was on and everything. I looked in my mic settings and everything was the same as yesterday. But one thing I noticed was that it said it was coming from a different mic. I tried to change the mic input but it didn’t give me the option to do my snowball. So bs. I don’t know what I did wrong.

Blue snow ball ice: The idea is don't waste money. This product basically introduces latency which cannot be reduced at any cost. Even with pluhins. with other mics we atleast have asio or the sound card. Here Asio introduces glitchy sounds as this is a usb drived one and headphone should be connected on the same usb if u dont want latency, that is not possible here. Yotally waste of time and money 5000☹️ best idea is to buy a condencer for 1k and shout till u here the voice or buy a dynamic mic which dose noice cancelling... Thats the best option....
