Whoa dayum. Thanks for posting this! We're having him out for a party with Phutureprimitive and some local DJs / performers on Saturday. Squee! Getting excited hearing all of this ^__^
Thanks! The sound system was working real good and I only used the camera audio(Its a good mic in the video camera) for this which is rare for me, but it worked well and I never got too close to the speakers which might have produced distortion. A bad storm came through before this and I put my audio gear away for the night.
Btw thank you for recording this. I’ve watched this numerous times in the years since the show and it’s amazing to relive the experience. Wasn’t that storm amazing?!?! It was so ominous as the whole sky opened up as the storm set in but the rain held off. And before easy ups started flying everywhere busting car windows, there was such an intense moment of simultaneous calm & foreboding from the weather, not to mention the deep vibrational thunder and streaks in the sky dancing to the music…I stood on the hill with the clouds spiraling around the hilltop just taking it all in as I started to peak. One of the moments in my life I will never forget. Truly a spiritual & humbling experience. PapaD & Bluetech playing through most the storm was magical. Happiest tow home I ever had.
@@OddWoz You are welcome JL. I was actually scared for my life during that storm on the stage holding down a huge tarp over Silo's gear that was acting like a sail ready to toss me 20 ft up in the air. Never seen lightning that upclose and long reaching.
@@guitarjamie1 Dude I know it really was wild! One of those had to be there moments. Never had a storm like that in my life-but as it was rolling in- it was incredible standing on the hilltop soaking it in with whole sky swirling up and felt like we were in the calm eye of the storm. You and everyone allowing the music to play through the weather (as much as possible) was epic & I thank you for that experience! 🙏 After those easy ups started flying I of course started helping anyone the best I could and I saw you guys struggling to cover everything. I was amazed it seemed no one got hurt. I thankfully was car camping and only had an empty single person tent to quickly pack up but had to move my car from under a swaying tree and I dragged my oil pan on a jutting rock from the wash out and had to get towed out of there the next day. I was honestly not mad at all. Lol Edit Was honestly a life changing experience for me, so i can’t thank you enough for facilitating it then and allowing me to better relive it now. 🙏
A few of these songs will be available on his new album "Spacehop Chronicles Vol. 1". There's a Kickstarter project for funding this album into reality. :) www.kickstarter.com/projects/815591074/bluetech-spacehop-chronicles-vol-1
5 years late so I imagine you've already found it but for anyone else who might read not knowing its "Fold and Arrive" off of "Spaceship Chronicles vol.1"
Hey I was wondering...I am going to see tipper in May and would love to capture the whole show. Any suggestions on what I should use to get good audio like this? This video has always been one of my favorites ;)
