Blue the Velociraptor Dinosaur at Jurassic World. It gets OUT OF CONTROL Universal Studios Hollywood 

This is one of the most believable things I've ever seen. The one thing that gives it away to being a person is the location of the knee... but not a single child would notice that and she'd be just as real as any animal. Bravo to whoever designed her!

Little girl: "It's my birthday! :)" Blue: *Gets closer to put nose in range of hand pats* Trainer: "Nope! Nope back up!" Blue: "But.. it's her birthday :( no birthday bite?"

Love how fluid the movements are.

I love how they are both a necessity, Blue is the attraction, all eyes on her, while the trainer cares for the people and makes sure blue doesn't hit anyone or doesn't scare kids. Since blue can't see well🙃

Thai dinosaur actor in the costume did veryyyy well they definitely deserve this job

I enjoy these so much! I want to be Blue and get to run around scaring kids!! It may sound mean but I feel like that would be soo much fun! Like, imagine pretending to be a dinosaur and everyone actually thinks you are! Some days, I might act like this too. Crazy and running around, ahah. Love how soft and fluid the movements are! Love the design.

I hate it when people literally drag their kids up when they very clearly don’t want to be there.

Blues name is actually Deinonychus a member of the Dromaeosaurid family. Velociraptors were actually 6 feet long and weighed less than 100 pounds. This is a great exhibit though and it teaches people about these life forms that were here way before the first human appeared on this planet .Raptor does sound cooler as a name though.

If you watch some of the videos on robotic advancements I foresee that it is only a matter of time before they make this even more real by having robotic dinos that can walk around and perform realistic actions.

And finally, in the end, the Blue raptor went back to her cage at home

I’d love to be there for sure! See..I’m excellent at animal sounds and could “ communicate “ or make sounds similar to those of what the Blue Suit makes. Wouldn’t be easy to mimic because of the shrill shrieks and screeches she makes most of the time but I could manage honestly!

Love the performance and dedication to the act, though I really feel sorry for the actor in the suit. Unless they have a mini AC unit built into it, they must be really freakin' hot in that outfit. Shame the lower legs and feet don't look more realistic. I'm amazed that the performer in the suit has full control over the sound effects. Superb touch.

Them dinos havent been scary since The Lost World.

I think that costume looks a bit more better than those Chinese ones where some of the costumes legs look a bit crooked (not twisted, but kinda sorta a tiny little bit outta shape almost and odd-looking is what I’m saying) or something. I think.
