@@InsertCoin21 No like, when i picked him up like a few months ago i struggled on combos like these than his optimal rekka combos I got it down doe thx
I'm struggling to connect the first 5s after the 5H but am hitting the delay JS as close to the ground as I can. Like I am hitting the 5H But the 5S just isn't connecting at all
Ok let me see if i can help you out here. Before we get into the tip let me just say, this might sound dumb but i've been guilty of this myself and many in past videos had this issue, but make sure you're doing the notations properly up till that point in the combo. If your first 5S wont connect, the only other factors are going to be the first JS, 5H and your 5S so lets talk about that. Im assuming you've tried to delay your 5S a fraction, this would be my first thing id look at. If it still doesnt work, and if your timing is right for the past moves, make sure you're throwing the ki blast that travels lower for both the JS and 5S. If you're throwing the ki blast that travels higher for the JS then the combo wont connect. If you're throwing the higher ki blast for the 5S then the second ki blast will miss. If that checks out and its still not landing then the only other factor is the timing for the JS, that would be the only other thing as the 5H has 0 delay. at that point it would just be a matter of practice and patients to get it down pat
@@SparkJex you'll have to forgive me because i forget the exact button but im sure its 2s both on the ground and in the air. So he normally fires two blasts in an arch. if you just do S (on ground or in air) he'll throw one, and pressing it again will give you the second. each has a different arch, but you can press 2s to throw the varient blast first, then the normal blast second. hope this makes sense, its 5am so im a bit tired lol . for this combo, you want to throw the lower ki blast on the floor, and in the air just do 5S , no fancy blasts there.
damn im struggling hard to start the combo, i cant get pass the delayed JS into the 5H. Everytime i 5H the guy didnt drop enough so i kick under him OR he recover too fast to reach appropriate kicking height. I got 60 hours in the game but never learned combo. trying though
if you want some basic stuff, id look up universal combos like some combos that most of the cast can do, and look up some bnb combos. those two combos carried me to high ranks over hundreds of hours of playing. it wasn't till after that where i started learning more character-unique combos like this one, and advanced stuff. with that said, if you're ambitious enough to continue practicing this one, then id recommends keeping an eye on vegeta. the visual cue that helped me learn the timing was trying to time the JS so it happens right as vegeta's face gets covered by the meter bar. You can kinda visually prepare for this right after you finish the rekka. you have enough time to see vegeta begin to fall and as he falls time that JS with that visual cue. you have a few frames to get it right. Dont bother with the rest of the combo after the 5H. Just focus on connecting the start of the combo into the JS 5H. once you can, then see if you can add the 5S 5S because that's the next part that might drop if your timing was off. if you ever felt your JS was not timed properly, but you still land the 5H, then delay the first 5S. Never delay the 5H though, i found when i was learning this, no matter the timing, if i delayed the 5H the combo always dropped.
@@InsertCoin21 wow thank you so much for this awesome feedback! I didnt know what BnB is but i looked it up, im currently trying them out. I will try to master your combo too because im in love with the artstyle of vegeta blue and really want to main him. So printed your extra info and gonna keep practicing until i get it right! Thank you sooo much
Yo I could use a tip for timing the 5s after the delayed ki blast and 5h. I can hit the ki blast and the 5h but then my two ki blasts afterwards don’t seem to connect like in the video and my opponent recovers.
