I can say I wasn't left wanting with this review. "Scrupulous" is the word I would use to describe this video. A one-stop work with clear sections to answer any question I could imagine. If I need a review of something in the future, I'll definitely be checking here first!

This was the best review I have seen so far. I just started a gaming channel for commentary and walkthroughs and was up in the fence about this, a snowball, or just the blue yeti in general. It actually does sound crisp for just audio even without a pop filter. With the in depth tests you provided. Def. a subscribe from me for sure.

@@Podcastage no problem man. Just out of curiousity and if not it might be a good series or topic to cover for your channel. Did you ever happen to do anything on ways to spot certain counterfeit mics. I just ordered my Blue from a seller on EBay. They are labeled as an authorized dealer but (and I should have thought of this first) they also have an Amazon page and one review has labeled them unreliable and counterfeit... just curious how an authorized dealer could be authorized if they sell counterfeit products??

OMG DUDE! I love you!! I have been searching the internet left and right, I even wrote to the Blue people because I wasn't able to hear myself when recording. 1:34 into you video and BAM! Without you even trying the problem was solved! There are tons of people in other Nano videos with this problem upset that it can't be solved. I need to refer them over to this video. Just a quick note, I’ve owned this thing for about 9 months and after a while without a boom arm the microphone will permanently depress the prongs in a micro usb and make it fall out very easily

Great review. In response to your comments wondering why a 1/4" mount? Well... 1/4" mount is the main reason we had for buying this. We have a mix of different stands for audio/video/podcasting/studio and this gives us more flexibility for almost any mounting need. All side address mics should do this.
