My video from the openind day of the Bluebell Railway's new station at East Grinstead. Class 73 no.73208 'Kirsten' and 4VEP no.3417 'Gordon Pettitt' were running shuttle services from the station over Hill Place viaduct and up to Hill Place Farm Bridge and the start of the in-filled cutting.
My video shows the ever departure from East Grinstead, the 10.10am to 'Imberhorne North' and includes Father John Twisleton, Chaplain BRPS who was part of the opening ceremony greeting some of the passengers and spectators including myself. Next we see the first arrival ever at East Grinstead, the 10.30am. We then see the 11.40am departure for 'Imberhorne North' from through one of the gates from Sainsburys car park to the Bluebell station site and shortly after from the same location the 11.50am arrival at East Grinstead.
A video of the service trains in action on the main line can be found here...

The Bluebell Railway is currently extending from the current terminus at Kingscote to a main line connection at East Grinstead. A cutting full of Household waste is blocking the path, for more details and to donate please see... tinyurl.com/blu...
