@@LiveMoreOutdoors is that the one you have the link for in the video? The one inch mesh also worries me, I’d think birds could get in that, and that’s the biggest trouble I have is the birds. Thanks again.
I only have 6 blueberry bushes. I've always had enough blueberries for my pancakes and for blueberries and heavy cream from time to time, so I share with the birds. I have never trimmed my bushes and they have always done well?
@@LiveMoreOutdoors that’s too bad. I put up netting last year and harvested 3 gallons of blueberries from 3 plants. The year before I didn’t use a net and barely picked a gallon.
Looks like you amended your soil. I have learned to get on Penn state and Ohio state agg sites for info before doing anything. Gypsy moth is terrible this year here.
That does look like it will do the trick but not sure if the birds can read caution though lol. I lost most of my bushes with the last hurricane so had to start over again.
Thanks. Yeah. I was trying to put it up as cheap as possible to see if it was effective. Working great so far. If/when it breaks, I'll probably replace with coated cable.
That's so frustrating when the Critters eat the fruit trees. My Brother has a Saskatoon berry tree. The Waxwings always come in and ruin the crop. They don't even eat many of the berries. They just pick them off and drop them. He should fence it too! Well done Brother.
