These were uh-mazingggg! My entire family loved these and raved about them for days. I made two batches and they were gone by the next day. Don't skip out on the streusel topping, it's the key to this muffin😉
I've made these like 10 times already and EVERYONE is in love with them! Talk about delicious. I use some lemon zest as well (we love lemon flavor). Thanks for sharing. Looking for a GREAT blueberry recipe, look no more.
I used lemon zest. Wow are these good . The topping spills out onto the pan and caramelizes if you just grease and flour the pan, which is awesome. Better than buying doughnuts for work and wasting all that money for something not nearly as good.
These were delicious!! The crumb topping was pretty sweet so for the muffin batter instead of 3/4 of sugar I put a little less than 2/3. Paired with the topping it was perfect! Not overwhelmingly sweet and not bland. I used fresh blueberries and she mentioned it might take less time to bake but at 20 mins they could've baked for another 5 mins. Not really a cinnamon fan so I would put a little less than recommended :) Overall, delicious! Big hit! Family loved them.
Also, my family said it was sweetened perfectly and they tasted great! But I'm sensitive to sweets! I find most things too sweet so next time for myself I'd also use a little less sugar for the crumb topping :)
Awesome. This is the exact recipe I use except your trick of using milk to bring the crumble together! Bravo! You even coat the blueberries, which I thought was my secret. :) Sometimes for a twist I use lemon zest and a bit of yogurt, but why try to improve upon perfection!
Just tried these muffins and they are to die for! Mine did not turn out as pretty as yours but they were still really tasty! Thanks so much for sharing this recipe :)
i know, baked goods from the store are so expensive! I went to georgetown bakery yesterday wanting to buy a cupcake, but seeing it so tiny for $3.50 deterred me :/
I am in the search for a copycat recipe of the Chocolate Muffin with Crumb topping... they sell them at Corner Bakery. I might just try this one as well.
+Thomas TV Hm, probably. Butter is about 80% milk fat, whereas oil is just pure fat, so you'd need to add more butter. One stick of melted butter would probably work.
+calmdownandliveitup Feeling good, thank you for asking!!! He is moving a lot, which is SO FUN!!! We had a little scare a week ago but everything is going well. 24 weeks now!
