Update to my previous video. After our male bluebird was killed by a male house sparrow, I was afraid we would have no more bluebird nests this season. I talked about the house sparrow control methods we were then using in my last video here: • How to Save Your Blueb...
But I’m so happy to say they are working! We now have a new bluebird nest with eggs, and are also using a sparrow spooker to prevent further house sparrow attacks.

We have Bluebird eggs in the nestbox. I'm hoping the sparrow spooker will deter the aggressive scrub jay who has been perching on the roof of the nestbox. 🙏🙏🙏

I've had no luck with bluebirds till last year when I built 2 Peterson style houses. (Nice lawn).

Early this season a English sparrow made a nest and layed 5 eggs in my Bluebird box, I removed the eggs and the nest about 2 weeks later the Bluebird made their nest and laid 5 eggs, a week later all 5 eggs were gone without a trace. What could have happen? Last year we had 3 clutches of Bluebird in the same box.

I am so thankful for this info and cld U please post a link to buy that sparrow spooker...I cldnt find one amazon or wild birds unlimited...I need one already made like this one U put up over your bluebird house...thanks again for this video

I love your sparrow spooker set-up! Where can I find the gadget that is attaching the post of the sparrow spooker to the bluebird box, and what is it called? I need a way to attach and detach the sparrow spooker easily. Thanks. Sandi from Muscle Shoals, AL
