My first car was a 67 SS Camaro..it was a factory 4 speed car but didn't have the engine or transmission in it..that sucked but I built a nice 327 .030 over for it and it was just awesome...this car featured here looks incredible..lots of time and hard work in this one..sounds great too !

I am waiting till spring(this is Canada lol) to install my BPE 383 exact same package as yours; purchased Oct 2021 paid $7800 Canadian as delivered to door; this included tax; duty; US$$ difference and cost of shipping(not included)... was hoping to see what manifold and carb you installed to see if my older Performer with 650 Holley (Holley calls it a 750 but it actually flows 650) will give me the rated hp. I'm 70 yrs old btw. so you're just a "young whipper snapper" lol .LOVE your classic; hope you have someone who can appreciate it when you pass it on.

beautiful!!! ...ralleys with a stroker! ...perfect! ...everybodys got to where they wanna "ls" swap their old cars (& i get it, theyre good engines) ...but then they go put big dumb stupid lookin 19 or 20" wheels on em... this is what a muscle car should look like! & sound like! ...very nice car dude!

I have a 383 stroker 582 hp , 569 tq on my 91chevy Cheyenne, with 3.5 exhaust, super 10 flow master, its a freaking beast, these engines gives you your money worth
@@jaredfreemyer6016 Just gorgeous. I honestly thought that color was a Lexus silver. There is a NY Camaro that called The Sledgehammer that looks similar to that color. Either way. Just flat out one of the most perfectly spec'd out Camaro's I've seen in a long time Jared. CONGRATULATIONS brother.
Thanks, it took me 6 yrs start to finish. Luckily enough I bought the car from a coworker and the car had sat from 1986 in a garage. Had a body shop put rear quarters on it but the trunk pan and whole underside was perfect shape. .

I'm not sure on the mileage, but it had 26000 on it when I got it. Not sure if that was original or 126. But I'm running the original interior ,dash pad, door panels, seats ect as they were in perfect shape. I did replace the head liner as mice had got up in there and chewed a couple of holes in it. I'm building a 1972 chevy K10 Cheyenne 4x4 right now that will be just as nice or maybe nicer. I haven't put any videos on RU-vid but have put some stuff on Tiktok under jcfcamaro .
I have a 72 Chevelle with the same engine. I have an x pipe setup with flow master super 44’s (similar to what you’re running). I was wondering if you’re running true duals? My exhaust sounds quite a bit more mellow due to the x pipe, considering true duals

What's your exhaust set up? I've got the same long block. Gonna install in the next couple weeks now that it's warm enough out. I'm starting to hunt around for an exhaust set up now.
nice!!!! i know this is an old vid...looking to purchase one, had some questions...question 1, will all the 350 v8 belt pulleys and powesteering pump work on this engine? question 2, is the cheaper 420hp from blueprint a good choice? i noticed you mentioned yours is roller cammed in the comments, is the cheaper 420 horse motor roller cammed as well? i could not find it in the description, i may have overlooked it but i wasnt sure.
@@jaredfreemyer6016 thanks for the quick response. so going off that, i think since im not doing a serious restoration, nor am i going to be strictly racing the vehicle its goi g in, which is an old scottsdale k10. i recently purchased a racing trans, i was tired of the used ones constantly breaking when the 350 in the truck is only makin like 230 horsepower. thanks again for the quick response.
Bruce Rudd , 355 rear end gears with BF Goodrich 245/60r15 tires. The combo works really well for me . Plenty of low range and I can still cruise 70+ on the interstate.
Joseph Thornton , alot of guys are running these engines with great success. Time will tell with mine but so far I've had no issues at all. Really runs great
That K&N air cleaner top is garbage man. Had one on my car and it started to deteriorate and go down the carb. Also.... if you’re ever messing with your timing and your car starts backfiring etc... there’s a very real chance you can burn it.
I'm looking to upgrade the tired 350 in my 1970 Chevelle. Not sure 430hp would be fun enough for the street... Would you opt for more hp if you could do it again?
The 383 is already an expensive crate engine. Anything larger will require a waiting period for building and about 3k more. Summit racing keep 383 already built on the shelf!
I can't speak for the performance though yet. I just bought one myself. Had to junk my buick 455 engine. Went through 2 rebuilds and they still didn't get it right. Plus the 455 only had 350 hp. Depending on what you are use too this 383 will be a come up for me. I though that 455 was fast. Lol
Do you happen to have the part number? I see they recommend one for a "later" 350 cubic inch engine. I assume that is due to the 1 piece seal. External balanced? Thanks for your time.
Colts C10 's I did get the 383 blueprint roller motor. I did it with the holly sniper fuel injection. I just got it in a few weeks ago and it hasn’t gone in to be tuned yet so I don’t have a good feel for it yet. I will say it has an oil leak somewhere around the rear driverside of the oil pan. Not sure what it’s from yet because I haven’t had a chance to chase it down yet.
Really any transmission would work. If you went with a automatic you would want a 2500 stall converter. And as far as the rearend gear ratio it's a matter of your top speed. I chose 3.55 so I could still drive on the interstate ect,but I could have went a little lower like 3.73 and still been ok.
JJ Jones . No I have not. It's ran flawlessly since I first fired it up. Took me some playing to get my vacuum advancement set right, but that falls on the distributor. My friend is getting ready to order the same one for his 71 Monte Carlo. I priced building one from 2 different shops and I was looking at around 5800.00 from both places and that's when I started looking at create engines.
