Indeed it's a lovely property but I could understand how much work is needed to maintain the rest of the land. And if he is allowed to sell that portion, it will be a nightmare during the new owner's construction.
at their age let them do what they want or say it how they want. its what is acceptable in their minds and they are too old to want to change. notice i said too old to 'want' to change. so don't let it bother you and also maybe he's not wanting to go further and she is hahahahaha
the one with the land was a better deal he could have split some of the land and sold it or rented it cheaply to a local produce grower or worker or installed a few mobile one or two bed cabins no building permit required because there portable not attached in the ground rent them out for a day or week or longer to tourist and locals also to have some extra income in his pocket and also they would be extra eyes on his property when he was away he did no think of all his option he just thought he would have to labor on the land and he was to old for that to bad he was not thinking with a investment cap on your never to old to make a profit
a lot of times dealing with other people can get into a big headache. Maybe he just doesn't want to deal with much bother at his age. But then I'm just a nosy cat! 😹😹😹😹😹😹
