hi, how did you connect your phone to the car ? is there like a video tutorial in how to do that? it looks like i have car looks like the one you showed in this video. I've been trying to connect my phone to my car to play music through bluetooth but it haven't really work out for me.
Looks like a really nice bit of a kit. I’ve been looking for a while for something like this because i don’t want a crappy Chinese android and also not quite keen to invest 1000 in a dynavin unit. Anyway, I suppose this starts at the same time with the ignition and the stereo, but, is it starting playing music straight from the Bluetooth when the radio comes on ? Let’s say last I’ve been playing music on Bluetooth, I’m out the car for few hours, when I get back to the car and put the Ignition on will it connect automatically and start playing music ?
hi,, I have a 2005 e500 with a bluetooth adapter installed. The phone works fine with the car audio, but I cannot get audio selected to go from the phone through the bluetooth to the audio system There is nowhere I can see to select bluetooth as the audio source., my car has the CD stacker option
Hi i have a 2007 CLS 550 Mercedes. My cell works fine through my mercedes wireless inside on my middle console. The AUX hole where the plug c to my android cell phone goes in. Uts in my glove compartment. It will then say no ipod
got a E280 from 2005, mind condition everything working fine, but when i scan for BT devices while having my smartphones bluetooth open to get scanned the car still doesn't detect it. There's some weird adapter access in the middle console armrest, no plug in the glove compartemnt whatsoever. display shows AUX and Bluetooth, i thought that plug in the armrest was originally used for 2005ish phones, not sure where the AUX port is and BT doesn't recognize devices. Local car parts shop had no idea either...i mean i like that i can use my old CD's in this beast but i don't want a box filled with CD's in my trunk if i could just hook it up to my phone...Any ideas ?
Hi I have the axact same car you do and I don’t have the cdc option on my main audio menu. It’s all grayed out. How do I fix it? Also I used my aux wire in with the audio jack in the glove box and it still didn’t work what do you suggest I do ?

I have a 2006 Mercedes Benz e350 and I need an upgrade to the radio / gps system. 1. My I phone won't work through steering wheel controls or from the screen 2. No aux to hook I pod phone etc. 3 it does have gps but it's hard to work with no way to put exact address in just a range, I like the garman in my other car a lot better. Can u help me?
No your car has the SD slot on the top so it should be a different radio. For the 2009+ E class replacing the factory radio would be the best option. You could add carplay to that radio by modifying the internals of the radio but it would cost more than replacing the radio for a newer one.

Hello, will this work with android smartphones? And how is the sound quality? Is there any frequency/sound distortion? I know that fm transmitted devices cause that and I keep seeing poor reviews on any other bt dongle/devices. I don't want to fork out a bunch for an expensive aftermarket unit nor use a Chinese aftermarket unit. But in the same time I don't want to use a cheap dongle with poor sound quality. Please lmk what your feedback is on this device is as far as sound quality goes 🙏 please and thank you!!
Yes it works with almost any bluetooth device. This is Bluetooth through fiber so its a direct connection unlike FM modulators. I have never had any issues with this device. @Enfig thank you for the quick feedback. Just making sure there is no distortion in the sound and the quality basically is the same as the sound coming from the vehicle already or hopefully even better..
@@Enfig ya I meant like I can buy an adapter from any place that sells phones and earphones and other stuff so what I squally do is place is into the smoke circle thing and then change the radio channel to the right number as my adapter so I was wondering if it will work or not with this car cause I want to put music from my phone
Can you make and receive calls using just the phone? In other words, will Siri automatically come on over BT thru radio? Also, can you initiate Siri thru radio or steering wheel controls? The radio interface seems too involved to use while driving.
The phone functions usually do not work on this device. They worked on a most cars then we had a period where we had a handful where they did not work so officially we now say that the call function does not work.

I have just got an ML year 2005 with the same system and I have tried to connect my smartphone using BT but I have no idea how to do it... the problem is that following this video, when I press " 6 " it simply change the CD or music in the CD....so basically doesn't appear no menu... anyone can show me how to do this... ?
I have just got the reply from Mercedes about my Command on my ML320, they told me that My Command doesn't have BT and it is not possible to get such option on the Command I have. So basically they told me that if I want BT I have to change the Command system!!!! Amazing !!!!! I told them to send me an official Email on which they say so. Incredible... a Mercedes that doesn't have BT and not possible to add it !!!!
Einzig gute an den w211 Radios sind nur die verstärker und die vielen Lautsprecher. Alles andere ist totaler Müll. Scheiss egal obs ein aps50 oder comand Radio ist. Die Dinger sind totale scheisse.
YES! I agree replacing the radio with one of our kits is a much better idea. BUT... If that's not in your budget this is the best and most reliable unit on the market. PLUS you can always just do song up and down. Music browsing is more for people who want to use an old iPod like a CD changer.
