After 3 days trying all sort of different things, what worked for me was to delete manually all devices that we're saved to my Mac Bluetooth, turning out the Bluetooth typing "sudo pkill bluetoothd" in the terminal. Then I tried to connect the headphones again and it worked! Thanks!!
Olá Daniel. Pelo seu nome, suponho que é brasileiro. Eu não sei onde é o "terminal" que falou no post. Poderia me ajudar? Desde que atualizei para o Monterey meus Buds Samsung não funcionam mais. Os demais devices bluetooth funcionam de boa, só os fones deu problema
I can't connect any wireless things on my mac using Bluetooth ever since I updated my mac to this Monterey. :( I really want my big surr back nothing is helping and working I'm so upset.
Okay, so this is all wonderful info. Problem is I cannot do any of it because neither my Bluetooth mouse and/or keyboard are being recognized. Yes I plugged in a wired USB keyboard and mouse, but with very limited results. Only the center scroll button wheel is active; the left/ right switches do nothing. Ugh
I am using the bluetooth on my Mac to connect to my cellular data but when I am trying to connect it's not connecting and I have tried deleting the .plist file and other things but it's still not working
my bluetooth speaker was connected but the sound was still coming from the mac. Did the SMC and then changed the sound output from internal speaker to my bluetooth speaker. prior to the SMC, my bluetooth speaker was not an option, however after doing the SMC, my bluetooth speaker became an option. Hope this helps.
That Safari (hide your IP) did the trick for my Doqaus headphones, although my google wireless headphones were working before it. Thank you for this great video.
Even if I get Bluetooth working again, the version is too old. It is version 4.2 or something. My mouse, Logitech MX Master 3s, requires 5.0. The Bluetooth-antenna is also broken. It happened when I upgraded the wifi- and Bluetooth-card in 2019. Wifi works perfectly.
Tried all of these. No luck. Was fine until I updated the latest software, and now no matter how many fixits I try, including deleting plist files and reprogramming via the terminal, Monterey 12.5.1 has completely screwed up my previously working computer. Can someone please recommend a real solution? I've also had to send this MacBook Air (M1, 2020) to Apple Care 3 times so they could fix hardware problems. They basically removed and re-installed the logic board, Touch ID, and IO board, which did NOTHING. I would appreciate anyone who can help with this problem, because apparently Apple has not idea.
Can't find com.apple.Blutooth.plist in Library->Preference folder. Still can't connect my iPhone/iWatch to MBA M1. Any suggetions would be great ? Thanks!
2:25 this worked for me, thank you very much for this. This is a really odd issue that occurs when I sometimes switch over to the other volume on my machine then switch back to my default one.
I tried all these steps and even *sudo pkill* command didnt help me. Finally I did diagnostic scan in startup and restarted my macbook pro A1502 and it fixed my bluetooth not turning on issue. Steps to do: -Shutdown macbook> turn on macbook by pressing D and it will take you to diagnostic page. Follow the onscreen instructions and finally it will show the result of scan. In my case no error was showing after the scan. Just restart the mac after scan and tadaaa….bluetooth is working fine. Thank me later
having issues with Mac mini m1. can't connect with jbl go2 speaker. I have monterey, But if I use sudo in termal, Can I use wireless keyboard after all?
+1 like from my end. I too did not have this reset module option however after doing the SMC, it did not work either until I performed the last step of removing the previous pairing from Bluetooth then pairing it over again. It worked like a charm. Thank you
did they eliminate support for PS3 controllers? I can't seem to get mine to connect after multiple attempts, resetting the BT module, resetting the controller, and even using a cord to pair them.
Sorry whats the terminal?… im new to macbook & cant connect my iphone to it via bluetooth… few posts on here suggest inputting something into the terminal… where do i find the terminal to do this?… thanks…
01/22/2022. I tried to delete the plist and deleted all the pre-existing devices. Now I have no headphone, no mouse, no speaker, no nothing showing on my bluetooth search. What do I do? Any one figured out a solution?? Thanks!
"sudo pkill bluetoothd" won't work at all. I did, only to get brief bt disconnection but then it's connected to the saved device again (my mouse). t wont even forget the names given by me to my device. I cannot connect to my audio device with microphone function and it's really annoying, since now I really need it in daily basis for vidcon. deleting plist also wont work. my buds r not detected. my oni speaker detected, but keeps disconnected. I dont understand why they remove the bt module reset function, as well as the remove all devices function. Everything is just fine, why hide it? I can accept bugs, but hiding this feature? its conscious decision and its stupid.
FIXED: My JBL Charge 3 speaker connects to Monterey but didn't play any sound. I installed the JBL app on my iPhone with the updated software, then tried to connect to my macBook and all of a sudden it appeared in the Output devices. It's so nice when a problem is solved. I still downloaded CleanMyMac and will use that later, Thanks anyway💔🤬
@@fookaiwai check to see if you have the minimum OS required.. My JBL Charge3 pairs to my iPads & MacBook Pro, but not my older iMac. The OS is too old. 🤬
