We compare three of the most talked about Bluetooth earphones on the market today. Sennheiser vs Denon perl pro vs Technics az80 **** Correction on Price....AZ80, Sennheiser, and Perl Pro ALL are $300 earphones.
I bought all 3 last week, not knowing of this review 😂. As a side note on the @sennheiser, the sound quality is limited by glitchy software. If I move the lowest frequency up in the eq, it actually starts to severely lower the volume of the other bands. Its weird but Its like a limiter is being activated because full volume is quiet st that point. I really wanted yo like them! Im probably going with the AZ80'S for comfort over the PerLs
Gotta' say it, far to much pointless waffling about pretty much nothing, gave up after 10 minutes when I could see getting the information was going to be slow and painful.
Great review!! Been looking for this comparison. I just ordered the Denon, the technics are going to be my backup pair. I think I’m officially done with Sennheisers. I have owned the past 3 generations, the left earbud after 5-6 months has a lower volume and has a hissing sound. Where would you rank the Beoplay EX in this line up?
I didn't find the Beoplay Ex as great as some said they were. Perhaps they were overhyped and when I got them to measure them by the overhype of wow in sound...I just didn't find it. I also hated how they felt and fitted in my ear along with the horrible battery life.
@@TheDigitalcrack Thank you 🙏🏿, I tried the beoplay EX. The battery lasted only 1hr15min. Devialet Gemini 2 sounds really good, the volume level impressive compared to the rest of the earbuds. BTW not cranking is all the way up 😆
I am experiencing s24u overheating when using the az80 ear buds. The problem started about a week ago. It only happens with my az80's. Phone drops 1% each minute or 2, gets really hot right of the camera lenses.
I have the S24U with mine..I don't get any overheating issues that I've have noticed. This is the first I've heard of something like that but don't doubt that it's possible.
very good comparison .. champs leauges. keep up good work. I'd go for denon as well. but the oney problem with it is, shitty chunky design. like a coat button or earring :D looks terrible.. technics best in term of design portability..and all round but sound quality denon is better
What phone did you pair with your devices? Because you can have the best earbuds, but if you're pairing them with a phone that doesn't have the best codec, then you're not using them to their fullest potential.
After testing these 3 back to back + others like Sony XM5 I actually went with Sennheisers as the best sounding ones. I noticed that changing ear tips impacts them greatly. AZ 80s have great, even best detail and top-notch highs for sure, but they somewhat fail in the mids and do not sound as entertaining as the other two. Denons have the best base, but as you've mentioned yourself, Sennheiser's mid is superior and they also sound super clear on top of that. The deal-breaker on Denons was for me the fact that there is no wind-block function, which makes them not suitable for outdoor activities. Technics have this function, although it's hidden and just turns on automatically when they detect wind gushes. Now I wonder how these would stack up against Devialet Gemini II, they are not that much more expensive then Sennheisers.
I have both Denon and Technics. I would say Denon touch control works perfect for me. Compared to Technics, Denon gives you full control of customization. Technics sounds better than Denon, in my opinion.
I can wear the denon all day long. The technics i can only wear for a few hours at a time. The Technics have better highs and the denon better lows. the technics have a better app. I want the fit of the denons and the sound and app of the technics.
My momentum 3 tws died aftrer 2y hard usage, went to a store that has the big brands to test, ended up with denon pearl pro and went with penon liqueur orange small, wow what a sound, nice decay and rumble, warm and smoth, punchy base and musical. If u after clean and technical would say other 2 are better.
I like the AZ80. I promise you. They are not in the same category as the perl pro. The status ANC however could run neck and neck with the perl and they don't even sound the same. And as a bonus the status noise cancelling is right there with the xm5. Like right there. Cool video.
Bluetooth earbuds are a terrible endeavour. You will find the pair that offers almost everything that you need and the one miss is so glaring you cannot ignore it. Case in point - Status In between ANC. Excellent sound, great ANC but the form factor! Same story as the Denon Perl Pro. Imagine the Denon Perl Pro in the Sennheiser TW4 package.
I bought an AZ80 a few weeks ago. However, I can't feel any noise-canceling effect while using it, even though I switched from Bose QuietComfort Ultra earbuds. I'm familiar with the feeling of noise cancellation, but the issue is, I can still hear roads and even the sound of my steps when walking outside with the AZ80. Could it be defective?
@@gideonMorrison I feel like only 25 percent of the noise is canceled when I'm using them outdoors without playing music. But when I play music, it obviously cancels the outside noise. That's why I can't determine if these buds are defective or if I just have high standards for noise cancellation since I switched from Bose.
