Adam, you are seriously making me think getting a Bluetti 😂 so many portable uses around the homestead

🤣🤣🤣 I’ve honestly been surprised at all the different places I’ve used this around the house and property. We added a room in the basement and it didn’t have power. Not a problem because we could just put the power station in the room for all our tools while we wired up the electrical.

@@AdamDeLay07 Can you use the Bluetti and simultaneously charge it with a solar panel at the same time?
@AdamDeLay07
@AdamDeLay07 3 месяца назад
@@sleepio23 yes you can. If your output power is less than the power coming in from solar, the excess will go into the battery.

Practical real world tests are what it's all about. How long can it really run your stuff when the mains goes off? What happens if you drop a big load on it? It's all pretty much pointless if it falls in a heap or lets the smoke out.

Exactly and it’s good to know before the power actually goes out… I’ve got some big load tests coming up next.

Great video Adam. I think I will finally give in and purchase one or two for my trucks

Thanks for the comment! They work well for the tests I’ve put them through. Don’t take just my word for it though. Make sure you do your own research as well.

I have a question not pertaining this video. I’m new here and the first video I seen of yours was today from eight months ago about ac power feeding back to the frame of your solar panels. Were you able to solve the problem? And what caused the ac power to feed back to the frames of your panels? Are the panels ground wires connected internally within the panels that we can’t see? I’m just not understanding how ac power feeds back through a dc line through the charge controller down through the dc output line without burning up the panels themselves?🤔I’ve never had that problem with 14kw of power and my panels are on wood with no ground just like yours.

a great test for the home emergency users. how long would the ac180 last in the same conditions? thanks.
@AdamDeLay07
@AdamDeLay07 8 месяцев назад
Thanks. I don't have the ac180, but looking at the specs real quick, it has half the capacity of the 200L, so my estimation would probably be around 6 hours using the exact same equipment.

When this stops working then what, pay to ship it back, take it apart or paperweight. A battery, inverter, ac to dc charger and charge controller, less than 800 dollars. Then you can replace or repair the components.

While true, some people aren’t into DIY ordering how things work. They just want one thing that doesn’t take much thought to operate. The same argument could be made for different devices around the home. If you wana tinker and know how things work together (and provably save some money), you can build it yourself.

@@AdamDeLay07 Absolutely right, I like your style of testing these plug and play devices, no fluff, just it works or it doesn't. New Sub. Best regards...

@@t.d.harris1311 Appreciate that T.D. I'm not really a fan of all the "salesy" stuff. I'm in it for the details. I'll show you what I find and then you make the decision if it's something that might interest you or not.
