We've been using Bluetti's 2000Wh AC200P solar generator/power station for the past few months in our truck camper and at home. Does it provide enough power for our needs? How does it compare to our Jackery Explorer 1000? Is it the best power station currently available for campers? Find out in todays video.

*Great **Generater.Systems** . Pretty quiet compared to other in this size. Runs my AC in our camper, but have to take generator off of economy mode to do so!! Great buy. Would recommend!!! Champion 2500*

We have used the ru-vid.comUgkxOTeIs0vv4_9B5hsmnLsk9r930uDQLu_Y for probably 30 hours with our camper and it’s been great! The noise level is really only noticeable when running the AC and other appliances like the microwave, hair dryer, or coffee pot. It’s not huge like other ones and it has wheels so even at 90lbs, I can move it!

Just an added note on a good vid, the DC will drain the battery faster then the AB inverter, because of the higher drain from being able to power the 25 amp plug in.

AC300 coming out soon. It's like taking the AC200P and cutting it in half with the battery separate. Battery size goes to 3000 and can use four of them. Can hook two AC300s together and make 240 volts with up to 24kwh of batteries. Can use one 2 or 3kwh battery with the AC200P. Also new is the AC200Max which is a more expandable version of the AC200P (up to 6kwh of batteries).

No lithium battery should be charged below freezing. It's a great way to damage your cells and reduce your output. There are some specifically crafted LiFePO4 batteries that can handle cold weather charging but they are not found in any commercial power stations.

Excellent video. You gave a lot of real world info and I appreciate that. I just ordered one of these a few days ago. One point though, it is expandable as you can buy the Bluetti B230 battery which you can plug into the AC200P and it will give you another 2048 Watt Hours of energy capacity. I do not anticipate needing that in my van but it is one of the reasons I went with the AC200P as I can increase capacity if I ever need to in the future. That may not have been available when you made this video. Safe Travels.

Not sure if the AC200P had the power loss fixed on AC side. Laughed at the bright lights comment couldn't agree more on that topic. Yes we too found it sad when sp many YT channels got free products and did the most un realistic testing like running a garage. Sad really. So nice to see a informative video. It is not true 2000 but 1650w. And in dc 12v the ac200p last less than the jackery 1000. The jackery fits better in the small car, and is much much more lightweight 22lbs vs 60lbs for the bluetti. The screen is unreadable on the bluetti in the daylight and there are no physical buttons to switch on/off so if the screen fails you will be out of luck. For small camping the jackery runs a fridge dometic for nearly 5 days. The bluetti don’t. I never went below 74% with the jackery and can charge to 100% in few hours. I prefer the combo jackery with propane kitchen, it is more efficient and lightweight and smaller. The bluetti ac200p is not an option for me. I had two camping trip and the jackery 1000 was above expectations. And because i never goes under 20% the number of charge cycle is much much more than 500 cycle, probably 1500, and i don’t use the jackery except during summer time. The jackery will last 10 years i bet. You also don’t need to break your back to transport it. When tou have already a fridge 45l, you understand what i mean. I was able to keep the jackery and fridge always in the car during camping. I put some reflective panel on them, it helps a lot.
@CC-gt3ro
@CC-gt3ro 2 года назад
Two jackery give you 2x935w effective when bluuetti is 1650w. Also with two jackery you can charge one in the background with panels or car inverter and use the second one. For camping the jackery is better. If you use only 12v device the Jackery is more effective.

Their email is very difficult to even try. I have sent them multiple emails and finally got a response, but they sent a tracking number from one of the previous items they sent me. Thanks for the video. I still have reservations...Their warranty should be much longer and there are way too many stories about them not honoring the warranty they do have. I can't afford to spend thousands to end up with a bricked unit with no way to get it serviced. These companies have to develop excellent customer service so there is no doubt in people's minds. Right now there is massive demand and they're selling stuff faster than they can make it, and that's a recipe for disaster.

I would like to prepare as well as others but pricing could be an issue. It would be a great help if you would ad the price for the unit as well as what it can do. If you did mention price then I apologize as I didn't here it.

Great review, I saw on another review that this Power Station self discharges when left on at a rate of about 1%/hr which is a lot when boondocking for a few days, did you notice that and if so, how did it affect your experience? Thanks

I have one. It does self-discharge ...which sucks. I guess the thing to do would be to power it off at night if you're not using it when there is no sunlight to charge it. But I plan to overpower mine with about 1200 watts of solar panels on my van so it will charge very quickly from the sun.

I would suspect that since he could charge every day with solar panels he didn't need to pay attention to a few percent loss over night. I have one of the Yetis and they have the same thing, and they advise you to turn off components you are not actively using.

From your experience does battery lifespan will be affected if you constantly charge and use it at the same time? So does simultaneously charge/discharge shorten battery life? Thanks

if you were boiling water on induction while the solar panels were getting peak sunlight could you minimise the battery drain therefore you could boil/cook more often ,,just during sun peaks? or would the drain be to big?

They just announced the AC 300. And a APEX in the end of the year I'm guessing a 400.

Can you charge this with your truck? Like the 12v plug or something?

It’s A bit more expensive BUT, it works way better. And like all of them it’s also removeable. Meaning when you do sell your rig or move to another one, you take it with you.

Hey man, so this video is 10 months old. Are u sticking to this one or is there a better solar power unit out there? I live in Miami and it really sucks during hurricane season, so I’d like to find one that will power my refrigerator, a freezer and a small portable air conditioning unit. Also, if they exist, I need one that can run while it’s being charged by the panels. Am I out of luck cause I want something that’s not possible?

Assuming a hot country where it is sunny all year and as many panels as needed, would 2 of these be enough to power a house with 2 people?

Maybe you can answer a question for me. I'm really interested in this system One in Missouri we tend to loose power a few times a year and this will run our fridge &phones at the same time BUT most of all I bought a vintage Shasta Compact (46 sq ft) so (I'll need it for small fridge, laptop, phone and sm Watt crock pot, sm heater & sm a/c. SO my question is can I just plug my Shasta directly into this?
