I would love to see a video that explains the operation and "real world scenario" on use and maintenance to have it ready to go in the event something happens, requiring its use.

i have this system up and running in my house. Started two years ago with one AC300 and twoB33 batteries. I now have Two AC300s and six B300s connected by a transfer switch powering about 80% of my home. Not connected the dryer or hot water heater. I did have one inverter stop and contacted Bluetti and in three weeks had my repaired unit back and has been running great sense. Its not perfect but it just runs without issues and i plan on ordering two more B300s to max the system storage. I only charge with solar, a 3Kw system which will be expanded this coming summer. So far this system is providing on average 16Kwh each day that i use day to day. My power bill has been below 50$ a month for the last year at least. I live in Montana and have mostly sunny days even if now they are half as long as in the summer.I look at the new systems with envy buy mine is paid for and working so i am staying with it.

These thjngs are super cool.. the modular and expandability is great.. cost definitely comes with that.. If you had this stuff you would be leaps and bounds beyond most people. But... your life will have to drastically change if the power does go out and all you had was these. I've been living filling off grid power for over 3 year jn wyoming. I have a much bigger set up with 12kw continuous split phase 120/240 inverters with 4kwh solar 2kwh wind turbine and over 40kwh of batteries .. we very often have to use a backup generator.. especially in the winter.

I bought the AC300 a couple of years ago with 2 B-300 batteries. This year I added one battery and next year I will add another, as I can afford it. I like that I can put it on different setting according to the expense of electricity on the grid. On bright sunny days I set it to PV Priority which charges only by the panels, unless the unit gets down to 30%. On cloudy days I charge my unit between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. when grid power is the cheapest by setting it on standard. Then, at 3 p.m. I set it back to PV Priority. I am pretty satisfied with my AC300. I have also had pretty good experiences with customer service. I wish they would put the batteries on sale more often. Thank you, Chris.

I have a combo bluetti ac300 / b300 and they're absolute beasts.

Eco flow has been great I have a small unit enough for lights tv wifi coffee pot small oven small heater or air conditioner

A channel called Leaves Diary (about a Japanese family that goes off camping on weekends in their camper van) had used the Bluetti as a power source for various small appliances. They also used more than one.

We picked up a Bluetti solar generator 3 weeks ago which came in handy with the Nor'Easter we had last week. The power was in and out, but we were able to power our lights and cook dinner as well. We're looking to pick up an expansion pack shortly. 👍👍👍

I decided to purchase a portable duel fuel generator this next year which I plan on using as a backup to charge my Jackery 1500. I purchased that unit in 2021 and it's been fine, except solar generation has been hit or miss, especially during the winter months. I don't have any roof solar panels, because at my age, I don't feel that I need to commit thousands of dollars to solar. Unless you're a well off senior, it would be difficult to break even before checking out and I don't want any liens on my property. For young people, it's OK and battery technology is improving all the time.

As a retiree, as much as I would like a whole home battery/solar capable backup system I just cannot justify the costs of such a system. I suspect 80% of the population is in that same boat in terms of affordability... To look at something like that you might as well look into permanent off grid capable. Prep channels seem to really push for these things, but honestly a multi-fuel generator with a transfer switch including stored propane is a fraction of the cost.

The top three generators are amazing. My only concern is how these premium generators handle solar flares or atomic detonations that cause electrical failures. If these go out, all you will have are large plastic blocks. Are there such tools to solve this huge concern?

I would like to watch a comparison between the high end generators from Bluetti, Ecoflow (especially the new Ultra) and the Apollo 5K. From my study, these are the best current systems for full house power.

I smoke 1 of my 10 Bluettis September 2023. I emailed Bluetti Service, sent them a video of the problem. I had a replacement in 3 weeks. They are slow to respond if it on the weekend.

Good stuff but lets be honest, not many can afford this. Thanks but no thanks. I have a togo 2000w and it was the cheapest option for the watts and it does the job for basic needs.

What would be super helpful is to compare Pecron e2000 with it 2 extra battery banks. Then Bluetti with its 2000 & 2 battery packs

Thank you for the video. Question- what combination of Bluetti units would I need to do the following. When the grid is up and running I would like to power my water heater while charging the system via solar panels. When the grid is down I’d want to trip the breaker for the water heater and power several circuits for the refrigerator, sump pump, WiFi, computer and TV. Would I go with two AC300’s or two AC500’s. Also, what is the minimum number of B300 batteries I can get away with? Thanks!

Thanks for the vid. Can you expand on your inverter sizing comment. so if you have a load that very low say at nightime then the inverter in this will drain the battery down? Ive seen comments from other sites that say they are seeing battery drain down to 80% overnight since nothing is really running at night? Also, if something happens to the head unit can you use just the batteries or is the whole unit useless without head unit? If yes are all brands like that?

Yes, of course it depends on what’s in the house to power and how much sunlight is getting to the system, but assuming typical sun patterns, is there any simple formula to use. Or, sticking to what’s critical, assuming normal sun patterns, how long will such a system power a 28 cubic foot energy efficient freezer? Have you done a video on how to figure out what you actually need from solar power generation system. The answer may be a simple one, but I am no electrician. Thanks.

Are they EMP protected? Or at least some of them? I can’t wrap my head around having backup power/gen and not have it protected. That has kept me away from some purchases.

So I have a question maybe one of you can answer it. I have solar panels on my roof already hooked into the grid. The inverter I have is a hybrid inverter but I don’t have any batteries hooked up to the solar on my roof currently. Would these hooked into my electrical trick the hybrid inverter into thinking the grid is up even if it is not and not shut the inverter off? Feel free to reach out to me if you need more info.

I never found anything that would power a small 500 btu window unit air conditioner unit for around 14 hourse on solar. That's the minimum amt of ac I need to survive a 2024 Texas grid down during strings of 110 degree days with 80 degree nights. What would I need in terms of Bluettti and solar panels? I can afford it, but not technically inclined, but this old veteran's widow has a young neighbor who is and would help. PS I'm in my old remodeled mobile home in a fairly remote part of a small town, so not too worried about noise, just not the noise of a gas generator. That would attract attention.

I once thought about these type of system but the electronics will fail and then what? I opted for a biogas system which can run my dual gas/lp gas generator for a Minimal cost of 900.00 to start. The gas produced can also be used for cooking and heating. Another caveat is that an emp won’t harm it all, unlike my solar, battery setup. Just my two cents 😊

How much does one Bluetti unit weigh? My limit is about 45 lbs, which is what the Ecoflow Delta is. In the Midwest it gets too cold to leave any lithium batteries outside, plus I need to be able to lift one up and into my vehicle to use off-grid travelling.

These solar generators are always cool, but they all seem to lack in solar charge capabilities. Taking days to recharge and hours to discharge.

Will this work in an apartment?

I don't have 1600 for the ac300 and 2000 grand for each b300 on the system. I also don't have solar panels. SO if you spend 9600 bucks plus whatever you have to buy to hook up to your whole home for 110 service! I need fridge, gas furnace, lights, laptop, and cell phone's, tv. How long will they last in a extended power outage? I ran the numbers and i get maybe 24 hours or a little more without recharging. A champion 8.5 kw natural gas/propane generator 4000 installed, will run my whole home 110 without cutting stuff out i don't need, costs between 50 and 100 bucks a day in fuel, i.e. natural gas. It will run as long as I can fuel it. So i can run the batteries for 24 hours and then use my generator to recharge the batteries? IF I am missing something I am all ears!!

When the grid goes down, you dont need all this. Your not going to run your entire house while your neighbors are suffering. That won't go over well. Something to run a few lights and recharge flashlights etc is all thats needed along with a solar panel to recharge it. These 10k-20k setups are just a waste.

But all these. Only can help the people. That are making $15 to $2000 a year. But the people who get a check from the Social Security Department . Can't afford one . So what do they do???

With all of these super high ticket solar charged power bank systems (NOT a generator by even a stretch of the proper terminology), there are a TON of ultra wealthy people right now. I'll just keep stacking my usual prepping survival type supplies and plan on joining the rebels who raid these folks and take what they have. Clearly they have more $ than sense. Why do I say that? Because years ago I set up cabins in remote areas with generators (real ones), battery banks, and inverters, matching each system to the needs of the family who would use the cabin. These Gucci grade power bank systems made for folks who don't want to learn anything about their system except plug A into B into C and watch power flow seem nice on the surface, but pale in comparison to individual components fully understood by the user...and they're a whole lot more expensive. I can see it now. Eventually these systems will require a vehicle to house and transport all the components.

Not a option for a every day person This is just a show off show for the rich. A emp and a solar storm will make them expensive bricks of uselessness ....just saying
