You can literally almost see my house in the video. The Bluff is in my back yard. There are all kinds of legends about it. There is a plant, I don't know what it is, that is only found on the Bluff and another mountaintop in the South Andes. My great grandmother used to tell me stories about the Devil living on top.

There’s a couple different species of plants up there in the marsh, that are not found anywhere else in the world. Winter is the best time to go up there

My second link has contact information, but I'm not sure they're doing tours right now. The tour information normally shown on The Nature Conservancy's website isn't there.

I appreciate you covering this. You have to fix your pronunciation of Appalachian. It's App-uh-latch-in, not App-uh-lay-shin.

Back when I pronounced it App-uh-latch-in I was consistently told to pronounce it App-uh-lay-shin. Can't please everyone, often I'll say both versions in videos.
