Hi, adalon here. Yeah, the lab game made me sad :( DC into a brick..still, had a ton of fun. Grats to all the people who went to the top 16. Just to be clear though, no I did not rage quit. I was very confident I'd have won that game.

@@Dkayed Oh trust I understand and definitely didn't feel called out. Hell, I didn't think it was aimed at me or anyone else imparticular xD. I just wanted to clarify because I saw twitch chat. Then again, perhaps paying attention to twitch chat is my first mistake. Still, see you next sunday! Gonna bring VS again. Hoping I can get past the 32 and get into 16 at least! Besides, for my first tournament ever I think I did well.
1:19:40 He has an opportunity to block the Pendulum Zone by chain Tianamon and chain like Caesar/Borger, summoning it to rightmost and rendering the pendulum player his scale and possibly winning the game He missed it and it costed him the game
31:50 the weird move is because, maybe VS hold the imperm, then bluffing Nibs by turning on toggle, so the pendy move to Appolo USA route, but i dont know why the pend summon didnt occurs,,,,,, I NEED REAAASSSSOOOONNNN!!!!!!!!!!!
Not really. There's so many easy ways to get into blowouts between Maxx "C" and Triple Thrust that you have to be wary of over committing, not to mention how much more of a threat bricking is going first than second.
@@MarioLopez-xs3vc not saying no, but once you win the coin flip your chances at winning is much higher than going second unless you playing a blind go second deck.
@@hibikikazama1099 I am I recently started playing mikanko with lots of go second cards. I'm able to break most meta decks boards except runick. That deck screws me over hard.
that's the problem with yugioh it's so hard for most decks to overcome an average board without board breakers and being under maxx c or shifter for most games is just auto lose if your opponent has decent hand@@dantevic
DEKAYED! @44:40; the fire ship is not bad. It has a not target destruction. The other effects can be useful as well. My opinion though. I was glad to see it used😅
These mathmech players are really opening hertz + singularity + factorial combo with defenser and circular and still just do regular mathmech lines. This is why we play nabla now. U do defenser and search an extender now and send nabla with circular then tribute Albertian summon nabla tribute nabla summon diameter and then u have plenty of resources for hertz and singularity + factorial live. Or u go heatsoul + hertz + factorial set and 5 cards in hand by turn 2 draw phase
I swear mathmech players misplay more than literally anyone else. The amount of times I’ve been dead on board but they’ve instead done something like make a terrahertz in a main monster zone and send multiplication, or tried to use transcode after kaijuing, is absurd. That being said, I’m still not sure what the optimal mathmech endboard is in this meta - I’m not necessarily convinced that the scariest-looking boards are the ones winning the most games. Kurikara is played in Vanquish Soul at up to 3 copies, and is in a lot of other decks as a small world (/ thrust into SW) target. Combine that with the popularity of kaijus etc and I’d be hesitant to commit to an endboard that is reduced to just Superfactorial if your opponent draws the out. I like singularity + terrahertz since anything but a lava golem means deseavwurm is still online, but that line always requires an extender.

2nd Duel Vanquish Soul Vs Pendymion, I don't understand why he force himself to pendulum summon under Bagooska's effect. He can summon Endymion earlier to destroy Bagooska and 1 more card. Maybe he afraid if he cannot get high scale after that. But still, Pendulum summon in Pendymion usually always be the last action after you make sure everything is okay.
21:51 for those thinking Scareclaw killed themselves, they didn't. The Scareclaw player thought that by crashing Tri-Heart into Terahertz, Scareclaw Kash would negate it, and thus reduce it's attack to 3k. Welp, he did not know that the ATK gain is permanent, and the rest is what we know it is.
on first duel,i think he messed up the chain links.....He activated the second flame in response to the add,he just had to wait......if he was going to activate the second flame,it had to be in a new chain link, bacause,Jiaolong was going to be summoned and then attack,SO the second flame had to be in a new chain link I just think that some players need to understand how chain links work, because, many mistakes happening and complains are getting more and more It's just my opinion, don't take it personaly everyone, thanks :D
I was one of people who shared the combo of princess and pendulum magician the day she was released and now I feel so weird when others also use that combo 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I feel like a little more VS knowledge could have helped DJ CJ. I felt like that duel was winnable but it’s hard to know what I’d do if I couldn’t see both hands, tbf. Really enjoy these tournament videos!
Wow 1:08:40 after the satisfaction of seeing ruinic trash trashed I might get to see lab trash also get trashed. Nice one 😅 I love both ruinic and lab but they're just so annoying 😂
I’m having trouble ranking up with my purrely deck but I feel like I understand the general function of all the cards. My deck is pure purrely but I notice a lot of people are playing ghostrick in there deck. Is it worth investing in ghostricks or does it really not make a difference?
It is essentially a discard fodder and a way to make a monster negate while still having the purrely plays. Purrely itself is already great but seeing the ladder yesterday it might not be bad to invest in ghostrick since it’s an extender as well
It would make a difference, but I wouldn't say it's the difference between ranking up or not. Purrley is plenty strong enough to rank up without ghost trick
scareclaw vs mathmech. scareclaw player had game on board. attack over heatsoul then piercing damage to laplachian for game... some duelist ened to analyze the situation before admitting defeat. all he had to do is make another tri heart. its not once per turn then he could put acro on field too
Why not upload it before the top 32 rounds, because i see no point in watching the first half after second half. I hope you consider it next tournament.
I don't believe Vanquish will success as a deck in competitive after people memory train column stuff regarding the deck. It's a literal "come on opponent throw me all your cards I can take" but they can', really
Tbh Jude did well beating that runic trash 😂😂😂 I respect ruinic but I hate it at the same time 😅That was an excellent duel. It's these type of duels that get us stuck
I hate pendulum decks, but god I was so happy to see mathmech being demolished. Pendulum seems unfair at times, but the lines aren't as simple or obvious as mathmech's.
That last match is so cringe. I know pendulums aren't the best, but the amount of disruptions they can go through to just play a single player game into an OTK is so boring. Dude is just playing solitaire on his first turn. Yugioh really has become gutter trash.
what a fucking retard, literally rare see pendulum play like that, you didn't event know what going on, that match is insane, i doubt any player can full that off by himself even if they have same deck
