Great umbrella and wonderful warranty. People who complain about it flipping inside out are idiots because if it doesn't flip, the wind will drag your umbrella away at high winds if you let go. Besides, it was designed to flip. If it does flip, just point it towards the wind. Simple fix.
Perhaps you should have described the brolly in a sheltered (quiet) environment and then went out into the wind to demonstrate its performance. The wind noise was a bit much. It was good to see it invert. I bought the Classic after seeing how easily my Metro inverted. It doesn't really matter because the umbrella should always be pointed into the wind and both umbrellas perform well that way. The Metro is a bit small in terms of coverage but it makes up for that by its convenient package size. Love its zippered sleeve that makes insertion simple. Just need to keep one finger under the zip to prevent the flap getting caught in the zip.
Thanks for this review. I have previously purchased a Blunt XS Mini.... only to misplace it after a few months. :( I was going to upgrade to the Blunt Classic but I have been under the impression that from Blunt Classic and above, they wouldn't invert. I know they can flip back easily and conveniently...but, im finally glad to see a true review who doesnt hide that fact. I thought I researched it well. Guess not haha. I really appreciate this review :)
Thanks Lea Johnson, when you're going to spend good money it's best not to sugarcoat coat these things. In saying that though it is certainly a robust umbrella and probably worth the money. Some people I have spoken who had the metro said they found it a bit small, so the Classic is probably a good compromise between the small and larger ones.
It's great facing into the wind. As you saw in the video, it may turn inside out if the wind gets under the canopy, but I did this purposely to see if it would be damaged, which it wasn't.
Why don't any of these reviews use a decent microphone? If you know you are going to be in windy conditions, prepare for it! Between the wind noise and the heavy accent, it's impossible to understand a word this guy is saying.
