California is a great example of this future civilization. So are many of the major cities in the USA.
Can we just admit that blur was big in the 90s but then dropped off the face of the planet? They're no strokes. And Damon is partly to blame with shelving the project. Also, britpop has come and gone. Verve, Oasis gone. Radiohead and Coldplay evolved to remain relevant (the latter being arguable).
it’s not their fault they don’t know the words to a 30 year old song that never went big in america, gen z has no reason to care about blur and why should they? damon can’t even sing anymore
@@andrewstevens6387 they were hoping that the back up singers could lend them credibility and actually inspire the crowd to relate to this music...... They were sadly mistaken😢 the days of White people in California are coming to an end
why you even care about damon's voice?? This guy has been uses his voice like this in the 90s. Blur is a band, and their songs are classic not just because of damon albarn singing
The crowd is lame but the band sound rusty too. If you re going to play a set of songs the crowd has no knowledge of other than Song Two. You’d better be tight.
No offense. Blur isnt exactly in rotation enough for the new generation of listeners. Albarn's side projects will stand the test of time, not so much for Blur, the band.
remember you are talking about band that formed in 1989 - isn´t it kind of "test of time" that they have sold out two Wembley shows last summer and peaked no. 1 in UK (and on high positions in many other countries) with their latest album? It's not THAT common for bands to release such acclaimed albums in a span of more than thirty years - a lot of famous bands haven't even been around that long. Speaking about Albarn´s side project, you probably mean just Gorillaz, rihgt? Because his other sides/solo projects are NOT as sucesfull as Blur itself.
