Andrea, I truly appreciate how realistic you are regarding the amount of makeup you keep in your collection. I follow and love the content of a number of beauty RU-vidrs but the obsession with keeping piles of makeup for collector's purposes, emotional attachment, or packaging (I'll never make sense of this one!) and then never using any of these products which end up going bad, is just beyond me. AND it sends the wrong message about makeup, as if to insinuate that hoarding makeup makes you happy. Thank you for spreading the right kind of spirit 💞

Try using a more dense brush with the melt blush (like a foundation buffer!). I found it goes on way better with that than my normal blush brushes.

Those Hourglass blushes are my favourite on you, every time I hear you mention that you're wearing them, it always is one of those "I knew it!" moments! I've been saving up to collect all the shades because I'm so obsessed with the way they look whenever you wear them! 😂

You did so amazing with your declutter. Blush is so hard to get rid of. I have 12 and honestly I feel like that is a lot for me especially now that I am trying to rotate through all of them and finished a Mac blush last month...it really puts things into perspective!

You’re always so poised so I liked seeing you a little bit flustered! I thought it was pretty funny. I adore blush, so I was right there with you when you were struggling to get rid of some. I’m trying to not bring in any mor blush or highlight to my collection....we’ll see how the year goes. Something will have to be pretty spectacular for me to purchase it nowadays.

I love your declutter videos. Within the last couple of months, I declutterered ~60% of my makeup collection. Now I only have a total of about 35 palettes (eyeshadow, highlighters, and blushes), along with several single blushes, eyeshadows, and highlighters. The sad part is that everything I declutterered were all brand new, never used! I sold them all and never felt better. Boy did I have a problem!

Wow that sounds bittersweet! Glad to hear though it will probs better for you mentally (I feel like I stress having too much choice and guilt because makeup expires) but at least you sent them to new homes by selling them where people will get more use out of them!

I have a select few categories that I just give myself a pass on when decluttering. I declutter regularly, and I'm usually pretty intense about it. But when it comes to blush and highlighter, I give myself a break. It's the "Does this spark joy?" mentality - I do declutter what I don't get excited about, but I think decluttering just to declutter is depriving yourself of things you may really miss.

That’s why I do on the chopping block. If I haven’t used something for a while I make a pile, and if I use them again and still don’t like it…out it goes. I’m not going to like something more just because it’s sitting in my collection.

Loved this video, I’ve recently been watching SO many decluttering videos whilst I get ready on a morning! I’ve currently only got 5 blushes (which I suppose is a lot for someone who doesn’t do videos or anything), but I’ve told myself I’m not allowed to buy myself a new one until I have FULLY used up one of them 🙈 - so these videos give me a bit of a fix for what I wish my collection looked like! 😂💕

Declutter videos are my favourites. Really love clearing out my own collection/ home every so often! I also enjoy declutters for recommendations! Usually if I want to try a product and I see that it makes it through a declutter because someone loves it that is what makes me go for it!

Good job as always!! I love how you keep your collection, well, not small, but very fresh and thoughtful. I only have two tiny blushes (from too cool for school) and two blushes in a nyx face palette. Thinking about adding few minis from benefit when I use a fair amount of blushes in palette. I just like having a smaller collection in general and I don't need big variety in that category haha

If you have a cheek product that is too deep for you, try dotting back and forth between the blush and a face powder! It works really well!

I have three of the rare beauty liquid blushes and they're fabulous. They are PIGMENTED though, they're not kidding when they say to use a dot. Keep in mind there's a matte and a dewy formula though.

Flower beauty are the 1st cream blushes I ever tried and not many other brands can top them. I think rare beauty liquid ones might be just as good and definitely a better shade selection. If flower would expand their shade range then they'd be my absolute favorite. Fenty is garbage compared to flower formula wise and I was so sad about that. Fenty cream blushes are double the price but do not perform well at all, not on me. Flower beauty as a whole are a very good brand. Anyone reading this should try them out u won't be disappointed

I like the Fenty cream blushes but I was very disappointed in the size foe the price. I can see how others don’t like them though because they do get very sheer the more you blend. I don’t think there comparable to the flower beauty blushes because those seem more like a liquid formula. I haven’t tried the flower ones yet but I plan on it soon because they look really pretty

I love blushes too and have been dreading decluttering my blushes too! I think I’m going to try to wear a blush a week to test them all out👍 the rare beauty in the tube is so beautiful - it’s a liquid to powder formula and wears well❤️

BuzzKill in the Melt blush is absolute gorgeous! I’ve never had issues with it needing building. I am paler than you, but it definitely shows up. And I prefer a more intense blush, so that’s saying something

I love the blushes from essence! I bought one on your recommendation and then two more because they are so good, and I love that they are compact, I wish they extended their shades to some more fun shades. I also really want to try the ELF putty blushes, they look very nice.

I love the elf blushes and i'd love to try colour pop's new blushes. Last year I used a drugstore lip balm trio (in a squeezy tube) as liquid/cream blush, it looked glowy and pretty on the skin. Blush is my favourite, I love the catrice powder blushes but overall i prefer a cream:)

Greetings Andrea! I always get great ideas watching your declutter videos. I’m embracing spring shades as I’m ready for it now regardless of the temperature! I just reorganized all my makeup and I need better options for storage cases. I just have square plastic boxes that don’t allow for easy viewing. I have to dig through to see everything. I had the tutti frutti bronzer/highlight duo and it dried out on me really quickly 😭. Also - tarte Amazonian Clay blushes are amazing!!!!! And they just came out with a cream blush that I want to try soon!!!

One thing that drives me nuts about brands lately as far as blush....they can't seem to make any other shade besides 50 shades of WARM... Im over colourpop with releasing 10 shades of warm and then here with this lemonchella one coming out on Thursday they're releasing 3 more warm toned shades!!!!! Where are the pinks berries and wines???? Not all people look good or even like wearing copper and orange blushes. They have seriously beat us to death with warm tones lol

Agree! It’s sad they missed out on releasing a yellow blush for that line (like as a screen stick)! But yeah seeing the products they felt so similar after swatches you see more variety but idk why they skipped out on some cooler tone mauve,violets and wine shades! Regardless I heard they were too sticky so oh well!

I agree with you. Most blushes are peachy pinks and warm terracottas. I also get annoyed that most brands release 60 shades of neutral lipsticks, mauves and a couple of reds but don’t release hot pinks or magentas anymore! I had to buy hot pink, medium warm pinks, or magenta lipsticks through Boxycharm because brands do make them anymore because they aren’t trendy. I don’t like pale nude lipsticks on me. I already have pale lips so maybe that’s what I want to use darker and bright pinks. 😤

By the way I've came to realise that most people don't really get the formula of the baked gelee products - like the Melt blushes - which are actually my favorite ever. It is the formula itself that is stiffer and in order to get it to work you need to use a stiffer brush, like a naural hair brush, because synthetic brushes just glaze over it. However, with this formula you only get the pigmentation and no powderiness at all, which makes it very pretty for face products (: good luck, maybe you'll enjoy it more afterwards!
