@danish i wouldn't say this is practical. Suppose if your wifi is down you literally can operate your your room's lights

@@mibrahim4245 Please go through the code. Link is in the description below. There is no need of sensor to send feedback to the blynk app. Depending on the pushbutton state, whether it is HIGH or LOW, the feedback is sent.

@@hrithikjain1806 Even Google Home can not work without internet connectivity. In this project, if WiFi is down then there is a option to operate appliances using pushbuttons as we normally do. You can upgrade this project using ESP32, which has Bluetooth connectivity too..!

Just i worked with your project, i was trying little different as its a feedback status, i uploaded same codes to two 8266, to work like a transmitter and receiver vice verse, it did not help, but the feedback from both mcu shows in blynk. could you please help me..

Nice work. Need help in getting the relay on for momentarily when I say to switch on the relay from Google Assistant. Right now it just switchs ON and be at that state untill I say to switch OFF. I just want it to switch ON for 2 sec and then automatically switch OFF.

Hello, First of all thank you for very informative videos. Not just this but for all. Second I had a question. Here we have used almost all of the GPIO pin of nodemcu. Is there any way to increase it. I have 7 switches at my home and to convert all do I need to add 2 MCU or is there any other way ?

I'm using three pieces NodeMCU v3 on my house, since 6 months. I can control the lights, building door and see door status (open or close) etc. For this project, I modified my light switches to push button with using a little spring. They working as really push button. I recommend..

@@Crunchworks79 I did not follow my electricity bill carefully. But there was no significant difference. The buttons start working after the device is connected to the internet. It must be connected to the internet at first opening. Buttons continue to work even if the connection is lost after connecting to the internet once. But data cannot be sent to the blynk server. Therefore, we cannot see the button status in the application.
