How topical.......... currently doing concept BMS design on an unusual critical project. Good points and ideas. Question - say you have 4 chiller installation with one by-pass valve. Which of the 4 field panels gets to control the valve ?.
There can't be one bypass valve in a critical facility 😊 There needs to be 2 bypass valves and double sets of system pressure transmitters. Yes, easier said than done..
@@bryceanderson17 That is correct about the by-pass valve ..... thou I often use two and sequence their operation (other reasons than redundancy) Oh I nearly always have more than one field DP's - specially with convoluted CHW reticulation system with potentially very variable loads - maybe not a data centre but a hospital - oh yes
