Welcome back to another Tournament recap, this one is only a week after the event so my upload time is getting better ;)
This is the 3rd event for Series 14 of the Hobie Australia Bream Series and the event was run by the team at Bream Master SA. Located in a quiet country town of Nelson on the border if Victoria and South Australia, The team From BMSA were hosting the round on behalf of Hobie which is a fantastic initiative between the 2. I'll take you on another adventure of tournament fishing with travel day, Pre fish day and both tournament days so strap in its a long one.
The Event had a total of 53 entries and should have been some epic fishing. However the fishing was challenging for most and was hard to find bites. I was fortunate enough to get my full limit on both days and to my surprise walked away with my first Tournament win. I also qualified for the Australian Championships to be held In Mallacoota in November this year.
Most fish were caught on a Cranka Crab in Light Olive and I was throwing that on a Daiwa Infeet EX 722LRS with 6lb braid and 5lb J Thread X-Link leader on a Daiwa Certate 2500s reel. The other fish came on a NEW Daiwa Infeet SK 6102LFS rod and revelry 2000s reel, using a Sazanami Jerk bait in Adel Ricefish and same line class.
I hope you enjoy the footage and would really appreciate if you're not a subscriber you end up subscribing to the channel.
