Anch’io da ragazzo ogni volta che venivano nella stazione di servizio, austriaci e tedeschi in villeggiatura lasciavano le loro belle auto a lavare e lucidare, rigorosamente a mano. Belle auto , dalla Mercedes alla Porsche, alle Ford Consul con motorizzazioni che in Italia nemmeno esistevano. Quando ti sedevi su un 3000 CSI , il velluto ti accarezzava la schiena e la mano passata sul sedile a fianco aveva la stessa sensazione di accarezzare le gambe della ragazza dei sogni . Che dire di più , bravo Davide e brave le persone che ti hanno seguito con il restauro. Non è sempre facile trovare persone che mettono il cuore nel loro lavoro, complimenti

Nessuna è BMW come questo modello....forse la M3. Ero un bambino quando vidi la CSI, ci salii e mi fecero fare lunghi viaggi Milano/ alpi francesi. Niente Velox, poco traffico, viaggi a bomba! e me innamorai. Sono passati 50 anni ed ora sono emozionato. Alberto, l' industriale tessile proprietario, non è più qui fisicamente, ma sto video lo sta "guardando" qui al mio fianco !

Una grande, entusiasmante avventura che si conclude con il collaudo in un tratto autostradale ancora chiuso al pubblico: il giusto regalo a una regina dell'autostrada. Having owned a 1978 BMW 635 CSI while living in GB in the mid 90's it had no charisma unlike the earlier 3.0CSI which already at that time was very hard to find and much more expensive. The golden age of 1968-72 is when some of the coolest cars were ever made!

I can only say that the transformation from a rust bucket to showroom condition is something just short of a miracle . The expertise of all the technicians, mechanical , electronic , paint & of course your self for bringing to completion . Yes a labour of love . Expense ! Who cares , money well spent . Als ich die Schlussequenz eures tollen Videos gesehen hatte musste ich tatsächlich Schlucken und ich hatte dieses lästige Gefühl zwischen Augen und Nase kurz bevor die Tränen kommen. Danke das ihr mich auf dieser Reise mitgenommen habt. Ich werde nie vergessen als mein Vater 1973 mit diesem Modell ( 3.0 CSI ) in der gleichen Farbe , in der Abendsonne, vor unserer Haustür stand. Noi ultra quarantenni stiamo rivivendo le emozioni che avevamo da bambini nel vedere queste piccole e grandi bombe. I nostri giochi, i poster in cameretta, i fratelli maggiori con la patente. Grazie Davide. Solo una cosa (che scrissi in vari commenti) per noi che continuiamo a sognare e che magari oggi abbiamo un minimo di "potere di spesa", sarebbe bello sapere i costi, le spese affrontate (pezzi e opera) e i tempi di realizzazione... Giusto per tornare sulla terra o davvero realizzare i sogni con un minimo di programmazione realistica... questo darebbe maggior lustro anche ai professionisti coinvolti

Beautiful car the E9 coupe. I had an E24 M635CSI for many years and the sounds brought back many memories. Great cars with real souls.

I always used to love seeing this BMW; such elegance and purpose! Your restoration was pitch perfect. It still looks the part and the autobahn underlines how brilliantly form follows function. A masterpiece!

I saw one of these in a used car lot many years ago and absolutely loved it. I wanted to buy it but the dealer wanted to fix something in it. I went back sometime later and it was gone. I thought it was the most beautiful car I had ever seen it and never forgot it. I have owned 5 BMWs , but I still remember this one.

my german boss brought one over to ireland in the 80,s and it was fab...he crashed it and shipped it back to germany. Rear license plate on yours looks weird apart from that all is perfection...enjoy and great job.

io ne sono stato propietario di una CSI 3000 , cambio 4 marce con rapporti lunghi, la tiravo in prima 110 , seconda 160 terza 210 con la quarta oltre 260 ,era bellissima rumore del vento che si infiltrava dal mezzo finestrino, perché e libero non dentro la sua guida , bensì battente alla carrozzeria su una guarnizione di gomma, tenevo il volante con la mano sinistra,e con la destra tenevo il finestrino all' carrozzeria, anche la mia era silver metallic con cerchio BBS mahle dorati ,ai tempi si usavano dei spoiler sottili sul cofano motore, 1984 , fuso poi il motore causa pompa dell'olio mal funzionante ho trovato un motore d'occasione di un 633csi , un'altra belva di macchina, a raccontare tutto questo sembra di rivivere la mia gioventù 24 anni ai tempi e matto di guidato auto sportive 😊

Merita un terzo video in percorso misto quando completa, inoltre si vuole vedere meglio carrozzeria e interni :) Capisco che l'occasione di provarla in autostrada chiusa era unica!

Solo al finale (se posso permettermi ) , per rendere il tutto una vera poesia l'avrei portata a farla vedere al vecchio proprietario che nel terreno aveva in stato di totale abbandono un MONUMENTO e forse manco se ne rendeva conto inconsapevolmente ma anche per i costi che comportava il restauro . Almeno nella mia città nonostante sin da bambino fossi un fissato Bmw w Alfa non ne ho MAI vista una cosi' . FANTASTICA .

Ogni volta penso di aver visto la puntata più bella, ma poi devo ricredermi. Complimenti per aver creato un programma che funziona alla grande. Come anche tutto quell' "amore paterno" e sopratutto professionalità che meccanici e carrozzieri del settore epoca hanno in "chi" si affida a loro....e già....
