Vehicle: 2019 BMW 3 Series
The video shows the complete process of building the new 2019 BMW 3 Series sedan. Follow the process from body panels being welded to the unibody by robots and through the fit & finish process. Once the body panels are all welded on next take a ride through the automated paint booth. Once the new 3 Series has been painted then it's thorougly inspected by both robots and humans. Once it's been painted then it's onto assembling the various interior components and installing the drivetrain. Finally the new 3 Series is ready to be thoroughly tested before it's shipped off for retail delivery.

Alfa Romeo builds the Giulia in Italy, Jaguar builds the XE in England, there's no reason the US-market 3-Series shouldn't be made in Germany.

soiceyboy33 Most of this QC was related to paint. As an owner of a 10 month old BMW, and as someone who has had many other cars from other manufacturers, I’d generally say the paint on the BMW is top notch. The materials in the interior are also blemish free. I’ve been in GMs where brand new interiors have blemishes. That being said, I would agree QC is other areas are lacking. My 340xi Msport with shadowline trim had creaking doors from the glossy black plastic rubbing against the door gaskets. Ironically I’ve owned VW years ago that did this. However, the last American car I was in that had the same was from 1989. They all have their pluses and minuses.

@@billm47645You're actually right, BMW tends to have fantastic quality paint jobs and interiors ....but for parts that actually matter like engines and electrical systems ...my God, I hope you have an extended warranty for that

Yeah thats true, but all is inexpensive, a house in México is under 50k dollars and its a big big one( sorry if i write something wrong)

True but they have free education and health care in Mexico. Free public universities and things there are a 1/4 of the price of things you pay for in your country

so bmw moves production of 3 series to low cost mexico. does the price go down? no it goes up with the new gen. $4 mexican worker vs $60 german. people wonder why we have trumptonian politicians elected
