BMW 4 Series Gran Coupé - stylish and practical? 

Your enthusiasm on the Alfa videos convinced me to go for a test drive, a brand I never thought I'd own. Took delivery two weeks ago, a 22 Stelvio Quadrifoglio in Verde Montreal, 21" wheels with Sparco carbon seats, best driving SUV ever, period. What a beast the car is! Couldn't be happier with the decision 😎. Apology for the unrelated comment, just wanna say thanks. Now gotta watch the video and support the channel lol.

My first bmw and 3000kms old, I absolutely love it... but with 2 cylinders more, which makes it just perfect :) Bit too heavy though for a real sporty feeling but striking an incredible balance between comfort and sport

Another great review and very well edited Anna. I like most aspects of this car with once exception, I'm not a fan of that huge snout grill nostrils on the front but maybe given the positives I might be able to live with it. It's more practical than I would have expected as well. As you mention the lack of seat massage and those pesky door handles will require careful operation, no hurried cabin entry for this car if you do not want to damage your finder nails. I noticed you're wearing a different watch in the video so I guess the other may be in for a service.

The new front grille on the 4 Gran tourismo Coupe looks super and better suited than the electric models. This is one of BMW’s beautifully designed cars, and Anna another type of attraction 😍 careful of those fingernails ☺️

I spoke with a BMW executive last week here in Australia He told me the face was for the Asian market in particular Chinese Because, in his words Big grills make big impressions to other business men and women All good as I would never buy one

I lament the imminent loss of the binnacle instrument cluster. This dash looks so much more appealing than the dash in the 2023 7 Series.

I think your plaid outfit (in the thumbnail) is hotter than the car. Now that I think about it, I think I watch more for the outfit(s) than the actual car. You would make a Mk4 GTI look good (yes, I had one and I know).

Love the review. Not liking that BMW is going to the tacked on gauge and infotainment screen with the ID8, as in the i4. Starting to make its way into the 2023’s along with the lack of many of the current physical buttons.

Hi Anna. I had check on the BMW Australia site and the xdrive is available on the top spec 4 series Gran Coupe and that car has a petrol engine. If I was in the market for such a car I would buy a Kia Stinger GT before I bought this car, not only is it cheaper but faster and just as nice looking. In regards to using the infotainment system in modern cars, I highly don't recommend using them while driving. They are all too distracting and if it cannot be done by using the buttons on the steering wheel or the buttons or knobs for the air conditioning, then it is better to wait until you get a chance to pull over the side of the road or just wait until you get to your destination. Thanks for sharing.

Seems to pull well for a 2.0, maybe when you review the LCI version BMW will lend you the 3.0!

Enjoy your videos but damn keep your volume levels consistent, when you cut to music sections its like 3 times louder.. jeez

Thanks Anna for fair and great review. The only thing, i think, is that BMW loses a part of its sporty dna in the middle segment. Before, even the non-M had a sporty feeling. Nowadays they are comfy but less "sport"... 🏎️

What is so great about another ICE BMW. I've hardly ever used BMW steering paddles on any of our BMWs as they are a total waste of time. My BMW I treaded on a Tesla Model 3, and I'll never go back to ICE. We will have to keep my wife's BMW convertible as there are no BEVs.

Absolutely brilliant review Anna but I wouldn't expect anything less. Your video has made my day as my day has been pretty much wasted. I went to the most rubbish airshow today. Due to the weather {overflow clouds} none of aircraft did a display but on the plus side it was free. Enough about me. I really love the looks of a Gran coupe/ Sportback and that 4 series is definitely has the looks especially with that metallic red paint. I love how sporty it is but yet has a lot of practicality. I has a beautiful interior with those white leather seats to back up the grey and blacks. Do BMW still do the hand gestures on there entertainment systems? Wield about the door handles, what is going on with that? Yeah it would be the end of the world if you brake an nail. I must admit that I got thing about hands and nails. It makes me cringe when nails bend backwards or back and that kind especially on horror movies. Hearing that engine noise from that BMW I thought it was a V6 or something like that so I was shocked the hear that it was a 2.0 litre but it sounds gorgeous. It reminds me of my friend how just got a Jaguar XE 2.0 turbo which looks and sounds gorgeous when he put it in sport/dynamic mod. That BMW sounds great on the MPG especially with your legendary right foot. 😉. Yeah it does make you question if they can make these cars more fuel efficient, why are they getting axe after a certain date? I guess you can't really talk about it with the RU-vid police around. I love that three-piece suit. It looks really high quality, like it was made to measure and made by a top quality Taylor. I got to stop typing or else you get bored reading my comment.😂. I know I always say it but Brilliant video as well as the B rolls and fantastic editing. Take care and all the best Anna. 🙂

BMW is stylish inside and would have been the exterior with but the big ugly grill destroys everything. As usual, you are professionally made video. PS Anna a suggestion for you, you should start one for RU-vid where you teach other RU-vidr to film and get professional sound you have. Because there are quite so stota youtuber on cars but between the yards they have bad sound when they drive a car and you do not really hear what they say because of bad sound.

I lost interest in BMWs since the E60 went out of production.
