Excellent stuff, wonder would an Alpina D3 with LSD be any quicker or would the Four wheel drive of the 435d make it better in the corner's. Be an interesting race.
Baza H true its great but you can never push it like you’d push a rear wheel drive controlling just the back end of the car in a corner is way too different than controlling all 4 wheels. Yet most of these 4 wheel drive systems are rear wheel biased. At least in performance versions.
Baza H true completely agree. I drive a bmw xdrive myself I’ve noticed for some reasons its more fun compared to audis quattro. Btw are you in the UK? Whats your favourite car atm?
Nice drive, best advice I can offer is pass yourself the wheel, worst thing you can do is have both your arms committed to one direction and virtually crossed over, because thats when the car is controlling you rather than you controlling the car. If the rear end there decides to go for a walk you are too committed to be able to do anything there pal. Also, the red mist of when the white car passes you, forget about it and carry on solely concentrating on your drive. Great effort tho bud!
Thanks for the ‘advice’ but my arms were barely crossed and if the car did want to go for a walk it would clearly need me to steer into the drift/slide so there would be no need for me to add more lock than i am already applying. There was a rumour that i drove the ring a year before with one arm in a sling due to breaking an arm...... the following vidoeo might prove this or it might not.....whilst it was a very reserved drive in a less powerful car than the 435D it was still a very good run (once arm or two) I would like to add that i am by no means a fully qualified “racing driver” but by no means an amature to driving either. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Re9OaLrsCls.html

I'm very interested in getting this car due to the best of both worlds performace... quick when you want it to be but also not going to break the bank fuel wise! Would you say you get around 40mpg when driving normally? Cheers!

@@qEnergize Town heavy traffic very high 20's. Depends where you live. Its way way better than the M135i i had. Like not even close in terms of economy. Yea stage 1. 0-60mph now about 4.1s 😂 does 100mph in about 10s flat. (Not that i have ever done that...) Get one its a great car.
My 435d xdrive is mapped to 385 bhp, by celtic tuning. wondered would it be like on a track. Obviously great on road with torque , but need a bit more pore for top end speed on track. I take it u got in in sports plus in the video?
TechFreaks mine is the ecotune 385bhp map with 560ft/lbs and the car was in sports plus obviously. They work well on track but like you say more top end bhp would be nice.
Do you think xdrive makes things worse on the track? I am reading reviews and deciding between rwd and xdrive and apparently x drive makes turns harder because it sits higher up or something?
great lap but hanging your arm on the window in hard turns will slow your times down. I'll bet you did a faster lap. Try and be a bit more consistent through the turns rather than snatching at the turns.
you go to celtic tuning ? Had mine done there and it certainly goes. wonder if this could be a low 8min or sub with like a professional driver they use for all these new laps times for vehicles
