Your going to change tires after 4 months as they burn rubber ?? Something is seriously wrong. I have a 2016 M5 which as you know is a powerful monster of a car and my tires are good after 8000 miles.

About the hateful terrible run flats, no mate no effect on your warranty (I have an email from bmw co firming). Just need to tell insurers (no charge) and buy a £20 compressor kit. They don’t use run flats on the M6 or any Mcar as they know they ruin the whole car. I put Michelin PS4S on mine and I’d genuinely is like night and day. Would never go back. £200 a corner in the uk. My tyres last 20000 miles too, so I’m not sure how you are driving it :)

Your safety part 🤣 literally every car has that. Plus how are you driving your motor? I have 640 rear tyres for almost a year now. Plenty left on them. Problems with the car are as follows. (Small problems) 1. Its length, very easy to clip a back wheel on tight bends/corners. 2. Steering wheel leather fades very quickly and can become sticky in hot weather. (Cheap leather get it wrapped in Alcantara) 3. Fake sound inside, never look cool to people outside when you take off at traffic lights. 4. If you want to change air con settings or direction of air yiu HAVE to take your eyes off the road and look for the button. (Not safe) Unlike a golf and most other cars which have a dial where you can easily change your settings by feel without taking eyes off the road. 5 and final. Don't lower it. Car has such a long distance from front axil to rear axil at times with some speed bumps that have more length/depth yiur front wheels can be on the ground after you've gone over it and your back wheels are yet to hit it. Coming down in ride height buy and inch or 2 could see you getting stuck on one.

Lovely car. I have a 535d f10 (same engine but mapped to 380bhp. Awesome power) but was thinking of trading it for a 640d. My only concern is space. The rear seems too small for tall people and my son is over 6ft. How to you find the car for weekends away carrying suitcases?
