What did you replace for the muffler delete? i have a 2013 Gran coupe 640i and i wanne do a muffler delete aswell just dont know what to replace for it
It sounds great but there will be a drone at freeway speeds. Your 6 looks tight. The x-Drive is choice, quicker out of the hole, and helps in bad weather. Love the wheels. Thanks for the video!
Thanks man, no drone sounds. I did not do any work to the resonators. Just the muffler delete only. Yes, the x-drive is great. It’s just one of my favorite all around vehicles to be honest. It checks so many boxes when it comes to practicality. Great vehicle
Thanks man! And yes, basically added a short section of straight pipe and change the tips with a cleaner piece of metal in my opinion. The stock tips I had were a bit worn out so pretty much from the muffler cutout and back is different material
I see a lip kit and grille change. Just wondering if any mods for power and such or even springs what do you run. I'll prolly just paint the stock wheels for now if even that.
No power mods at all Lukas unfortunately, still under warranty and don’t want to risk it at this point. Two more years left and either will by then I’ll probably upgrade to something else most likely B58 or S58 engine. N55 may not really be worth the upgrade due to limited power potential compared to other BMW engines. As is though I think it still is a great engine, probably not the best to invest a tune in though.

If you live in CA, yes. You will get pulled over. You'll probably get pulled over twice in one week for having a muffler delete. I have been pulled over at least 27 times in the last 5 years. I just pay the fines, get a fake smog and keep truckin'. If you're worried about getting pulled over, don't mod your car and suck forever.

You can also just search Samurai front lip. Pretty simple to install. I like it because it’s a highly flexible roll that adheres to the contours of the car. I had a different lip previously that just couldn’t last. This one is foam like but honestly couldn’t tell unless you grab it. Cheap and does its job so I would recommend. I’ll have to look for the skirts, when I find the exact ones I’ll send you the link as well. Each skirt is a 3 piece set.
Thanks bro! They are Giovanna Haleb 20” wheels. Got them staggered, so 20x9 front and 20x10.5 in back. 245 in front and 275 in back. Got them off AudioCity USA with the Lionhart tire set. I think they look real good with the ride. I like them and Stance wheels for the 6 series.
Could you please share how you did this? I have a 2014 F06. I don't see any exhaust flaps in my mufflers, but I love/want the sound of the cold start exhaust. Thanks
Yeah, I basically had a shop cut the mufflers out, weld a short section of straight pipe (probably 3’ or so) and change the tips with some stainless steel tips. The stock tips I had were a bit worn out. The mufflers on the car do a great job at keeping the car quiet so once you cut them the sound is so much better, more lively. Quick solution that provides a huge difference.
sounds great...but I have to admit...I'm interested in what my little eye spied when the camera swooped around the front and I saw a front end camera in the grill. That an aftermarket or now standard? our noses are so low and long...I scrap that damn thing every time I'm trying to park...and NEVER let anyone else park your ride, I'm always telling them...'BACK IT IN!' good looking car by the way.
Haha thanks man! The camera is OEM. I have a 2014 model but it really was loaded out. That front facing camera is the infrared night vision camera. The car is like a mini Knight Rider KITT lol. Yeah, definitely get scared letting anyone drive and your right about backing in haha! Yeah, I love this model, still one of my favorites!
@@6SeriesTee night vision… the one piece of tech I did not do and I kick myself for it. Lol …oh and rear heated seats for when I have extra wom…err people in the back.
@@wayneious Hahaha right..that’s why you need those back seats…for ppl lol. The night vision is excellent on the back roads where deer or just where low visibility is. The infrared does an great job highlighting things you wouldn’t even notice. Don’t use all the time but is very useful.
Anything else done beside springs and wheels. Sounds nasty. What mileage if I may. My 640 needs an overhaul really. Thinkin about goin all in. Makin a nice sunny day car
I have 70,000 miles. Bought it at 50,000, runs great. No real issues except had valve cover replaced. It’s my weekend not daily so try to keep it simple with a few visual mods.
Your car does look really good. I've got 72k on mine. It needs tires brakes alignment so thought slotted disc's h&r springs. The car makes decent torque. Now I have a daily I thought striaght exhust,tune , coils charge pipe. Basically stage 1. I do love it haha I miss 6speed. I like some euro v8s as well

@@hameemkamal1326 No problem, very simple. You roll out the lip to free the creases, once settled, remove the adhesive and follow the contours of the bumper. Apply and you can add a few screws supplied for added precaution. Takes maybe 15mins to do, pretty straightforward.
It’s a 2014 and is equipped with the B&O system..everyone says comes in says it’s probably the best sound system they’ve heard in a car. Definitely better than the HK system equipped on other 6 series
