Starting with that headache in March 2021 that you said landed you in the emergency room right around the same time I was involuntarily admitted to the VA hospital in Coatesville, PA. I know about that too. I also know what he's been allowing his contacts to do to me all these years. I hope you weren't involved in that. I loved you like a nephew.
75% of Beemers are leased (at least they are in my state, Mercs also) so owners are kinda already used to a user-pays mentality and won't really be going out and tipping over streetcars and setting bins on fire over it.. If I'm honest , most of them are only used as trophies, for people / families that would be perfectly well served with a Honda or Toyota sedan or SUV but work in a flashy job or live in an upscale neighbourhood where they've gotta keep up appearances.. They only keep them the 3 years so to them they're perfectly reliable cars because they never get old enough for stuff to start failing on them..
There is always a way to pirate to avoid these fees, even if it means modifying the car through a Bluetooth OBD. This is easy to modify and will completely break this micro transaction business model.
All the ways to get slimed at the dealer and now the manufacturers in their infinite wisdom want to add more fog to an overcomplicated and deceitful process as it is. When will people realize an agenda is taking place?!
