BMW takes lighting up the night to a new level! Many car makers feature expansive ways to customize the interior from lighting to the digital gauge layouts. BMW's ambient lighting has quite a few options across their product line from the 2 series to the X7. The Sky Lounge takes it a step further by lighting up the moonroof! It's not an option for all models but it's something you gotta see! Sky Lounge shown in this video is the 2021 M760i.
Ambient lighting in the BMW and Alpina lines can also be controlled by the BMW voice assistant. You can also turn the brightness down.

Hello! Y want to ask you a question: Is the light associated with the ambient light of the vehicle or can it be desactivated independently? When the currains is closed, the light is visible. Can the light intensity be adjusted independently? Thanks from Spain!

I think bmw is better bc you still have a sunroof....unlike the rr. The rr stars look better but you have completely removed the option for a operational panoramic roof. Regardless the fact that a bmw option is in the conversion with a rr is already a win

Hi, great question. It does have ambient lighting but not to this extent. The iDrive version is also different.

The thing that pisses me off the most is the red/orange light on buttons. It is extremely tiring to look at for an extended period of time, and it doesnt match well with any color of the ambient light, except red/orange lol. I was on the fence between this and the Cayenne, once I tried this one out for a test drive at night, Cayenne is a no brainer.

Really? We felt like 30k difference in price wasn’t justified. We crossed shopped the Cayenne E Hybrid and by the time we got it to where we wanted it was $115. We opted for the X5 50e, the car is so good at 90k it was just a no brainer, BMW is quicker too.
