Thank you !!! Thank you !!! It worked like a charm on my 1999 328i E 46. Didn’t work the first few tries, as I was passing the 1st position. Once I tried turning to the 1st position only, taking the key out and holding the unlock while pressing the lock 🔒 3 times...... WALA !!!

Yeah it works, Thanks ,in the instruction manual on E36 it doesnt say to take key OUT.

Will this work on a 91 318is and if so would not having a chip key cause the fuel system not to engage...

How can I push the buttons if I put the key away? Tried pushing buttons anyway many times. Did not work on my 98 528i

Hi I have tried all possibilities but everyone is talking about 3 button key(unlock key, BMW logo(lock key), trunk key). but my problem is when I bought my BMW 2000 318i, I got key with only two buttons lock and unlock but still I tried the reprogramming procedure few times still struggling with the key fob. I have already replace the battery as well. My key fob works sometimes but most of the times it doesn't work any help please.

Some models and keys it works with one click on, off and pull out key, but other models you have to turn key on and off 5 times then pull out. Also some models you have to keep all doors and boot closed, other models you have to keep the door open, it varies a lot so try different methods.

I have e36 1997 and i have only 1 key it was working fine 2 3 months ago and then it started malfunctioning only unlocking today it was locking also but again it is doing the same please anyone have any idea what's wrong?
