From my friend's experience, there's no drone at all! He also calls it "too quiet for his liking". It's definitely more audible than stock!

In my experience, yes. A muffler delete, however, does not and still sounds great.

And the end was just as funny as unexpected 😂 I am also interested in knowing whether the setup consists in only deleting the Y resonator. Would it be possible to film a video from inside the cabin while driving casually ? I’d like to perform the same mod on my 535i but I’d like to see whether the v8 roar can be heard while driving normally... thanks !!!

@es9j4 Hello there! Thanks for the feedback, and I'm glad you enjoyed the ending! It was made during a time I was into Metal Gear Solid. The Y-Resonator is still in place; however the scuba tanks have been deleted. As long as you keep the OEM headers and OEM cats, it'll make the V8 more audible while keeping a low-profile. I'll look into getting some interior cabin footage and post it on my secondary channel! It'll be on another channel I run called AutoSymphonia, dedicated to modified exhausts.

I've got an answer for you now! Y-Resonator is still in place. The scuba tanks have been deleted.
