BMW E46 318Ci M43TUB19 - Cold Start - DISA PROBLEM 

It might be several, mostly noise from disa as shows in video. It's worth first check your eg noise on cold start

I don't know if for example power decreased, but i recognize noise very similar to the one in video. It starts around 20 seconds after turning on on cold start and ends after around minute... Also there is clear change in behavior of the engine when it warms up. It goes much smoother after.

How did you repair the DISA valve?

UnoMomentum I boght on ebay and changed it. I suggest to check with working car, try to take parts from working car and see difference, check MAF, sparks etc. if you can do it, if not first try Diag.

no, not yet, but changed spark plugs with original BMW NGK iridium model, changed MAF, changed petrol filter, checked air housing, no problems. only left to change DISA or Fix it.

M43TU B19 [77kW] without DISA M43TU B19 [85kW] with DISA

316i doesn't have and 318i has. I just retrofitted disa to my 316i and ran 318i software to it. Now it's basically 318i

@@Bemaritohtori I wonder if you can put the blank from the 316i to a 318i and if it would run fine? 🤔
