In this video I remove the hood of my E46 parts car. This process is simple and can be done alone but having a second pair of hands can definitely help speed things along.
okay so im painting on the car because i might discover new curse words trying to put those cables/hose back through the hood after I'm done. why didnt they just add disconnects where you showed?
I found the easiest way to put it back on is to have the 2 front bolts (the ones that I did not fully pull off) in the hood loose and then slide the hood onto the hinge, resting on those 2 bolts. Have the other 2 bolts with you and then you can hold the hood up with your hand as you screw them in. Once it is on routing the washer fluid hose and wires back through the hole is pretty easy.
