Can we please see a complete series on how to swap this into an e46, im tired of my n42 motor in my 318i e46 compact and I'm looking for an engine swap i have little mechanic experience but compared to the other guys i see you did no cutting into the car which is cool because id like to keep the body in original condition as possible.
Dude my purple lady is still shining and ask me for a new Engine And i tought it would be perfect if i ask a some of you guys if any body knows if its possible pair the K24 with a SMG 3 Transmission? Because i 17:06 owned in the past a SMG 2 It was more efficient and more fun to drive. Now i have SMG 1 In this one and 5 speed is just dont make so much fun as the 6 speed and is slower and less effizient so i would like to swap also my Gearbox to a 7 speed SMG 3 from the E6X or the DCT from E92 M3 its would be more fun because of the +1 compare to the SMG 2 and +2 to now. I would like to know is that possible K24+SMG 3 or DCT or maybe Even a 8HP but i dont wanna make lose it a sporty gearbox do anone anything about the driving experience with the 8HP? That’s easy enough to work around. Also that brings me to my next question, will the cowling, filter and ducting only end up fitting with the skunk 2 valve cover ?
