Great. Thanks for showing where the module is and how to replace and reprogramme. I've not got Autel bu this points me in the right direction. Mine went and diagnostics said this Gateway module, the central and B pillar. The central is a real pig to get to the whole centre console has to come out. I dreaded the Gateway but now I see it is relatively easy.
Your previous comment lead me here. Lol. Cheers mate. Ended up being my DDE (ecu). Know if similar method in this video works with ecu change? If so would it matter if it’s from a manual or auto? Im told it’s possible with Autel but I’m having trouble finding exact ecu number from exact car. Mines an auto 120D E82. Realoem says you can use about 8 compatible ecu part number. Not sure if you have experience with this. Thanks for your time.
Hi The engine ECU will require a bit more work... The Manual or Auto matters, however Autel will be capable of flashing the correct software once installed on the car... The DDE will however, need programming to the immobiliser... You will need to either write the ISN from your car into the DDE, or vice versa... The MS908P can't do that.. @@JamesAllen300 Assuming the problem was only the capacitors, yes, but not that much... the capacitors are not cheap... But I needed this fixed, so this time just went this route... next time, I will attemp a repair... 👍👍👍
any ideas on how can I fix a seat ibiza {1.4 bby engine) - batery dosnt charge? I tried diferent dynamo but didnt do the trick. I think ecu is the problem. Any sugestions on how can this be fixed

Will Autel Maxicom808 work with BMW E65? My E65 got exactly the same issue and I am planning to buy an autel maxicom808 and a module to fix this issue.
If something wrong with module its faulty then its not preset in list and you cant access others faults erase them.Overhaul block.If u can access then reason can be battery..starting too high load etc..Ignition off on your car going just grazy...remove battery leads and then try again✌️Battery mess or too much hack withot reset a car is not best way resolve issues.

Hi This never caused any parasitic drain in my case... and from my experience and knowledge, doubt it will do... but you never know... Get it repaired/dealt with, and go from there... Thank you for watching!
This happened on mine, turns out the sunroof pipe was getting blocked and water runs down inside the a pillar and drips on the module behind the glovebox
@@LMAutoRepairs thanks so much. For some reason the glove compartment was in the way and I ended up taking the glove compartment off in order to get it out. But you video helped greatly . Thanks. One last question? I ordered the same exact model/PIN number . Does this still need to be reprogrammed. Thanks again
